First, they were a successful couple from the Sacramento, California area, who seemed to have it all. Richard was a star defense attorney, and Susan, a corporate lawyer, who left her career to become a stay at home mom for their four children. They were part of Sacramento society, consistently attending the A-list party circuit of the local scene. Then, one day Susan went into a police precinct to confess to planning the murder of her own husband and to molesting her children. But did it ever happen? Was her father behind it? Or was Susan being brainwashed by her husband? Richard, Susan and their children all tell their side of this bizarre tale. Also, Scott Falater was a loving husband and father, and a model citizen – until he killed his wife in the middle of the night, stabbing her 44 times, then drowning her. Was it murder? Or did Falater unknowingly kill his wife while sleepwalking?
