A new group of lovebirds will steal the show on the season 2 premiere of Love After Lockup! Let’s see, there’s a virgin set to marry an inmate. A returning fan-favorite. The “mother” of all secrets. And much, more. Sip on this warm “Hot Con-ny” (get it?) as things heat up on the season opener.

Recipe: Hot Con-ny

1 Serving

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 cup water
1 1/2 ounces whiskey
2 to 3 teaspoons honey, to taste
2 to 3 teaspoons lemon juice, to taste
1 lemon round
1 cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish)

DIRECTIONS:

In a teapot or saucepan, bring the water to a simmer. Pour the hot water into a mug. Add the whiskey, 2 teaspoons honey and 2 teaspoons lemon juice. Stir until the honey has disappeared into the hot water. Taste, and add 1 teaspoon honey for more sweetness if desired, and/or 1 teaspoon more lemon juice for more zing. For this week’s Hip Hop Happy Hour, WE are making a special mocktail in honor of one of our favorite Hip Hop children. She may not always be on the show, but when she is WE can’t look away. It’s none other than Bow Wow’s daughter Shai!
