Reva and Marc couldn’t be happier with the design that will utilize each of their talents to the max. The Chicago CakeGirls get a bridal shower cake that plays right into their strengths. The bride-to-be wants a really girly-girl cake that’s fashion centric. Mary immediately thinks designer purses, shoes and jewelry. Mary wants to push Ben into the decorating process a little more, so she asks him to paint the zebra design on the purse. Needless to say, Ben’s going to need a little more practice until Mary will let him take on a cake by himself. It’s show time in New York City and Lauri and Cake Alchemy are ready. New York Magazine Bridal Show is the place to showcase what’s new and cool in weddings. So the bar has to be set high and the Cake Alchemy ladies have to clear it with room to spare. And that’s just what they do with the Chandelier cake! It’s got everything that makes the shop a stand out—a unique design, perfect fondant in an au courant color and their trade mark blown sugar.
