Amazing Wedding Cakes


Reva at Merci Beaucoup Cakes meets with a couple who are comic books geeks who dream of an engagement cake that will encompass their passion for super heroes. There’s no need to fear, Marc and Reva are to the rescue. Lauri at Cake Alchemy in New York City is confronted with the challenge of her first topsy turvy wedding cake. The couple was very specific in their desires—topsy turvey, elegant, a monogram and of course, Lauri’s famous sugar balls. Christopher Garren’s Cakes is confronted with couple’s desire for an aquatic theme, more specifically a coral reef, with sea creatures and the like for their engagement cake. Yet Chris and his team are not quite satisfied with that challenge, they add sculpted figures of the engaged couple and a treasure chest suspended rather precariously over the cake.
