2009 Yearly Horoscope: LibraThe year ahead in life, love and more. |
Consider yourself to be in preparation mode. By late October all your ducks need to be in a row because anything that is flawed or inappropriate will feel the effects of Saturn's scythe. Saturn arrives in your sign on October 27th bringing both responsibilities and rewards. This planet is said to be exalted in Libra, however, so aside from acquiring gravitas during the following two years, no doubt through some testing experiences, you have the opportunity to achieve a major ambition. Throughout the year Jupiter will be transiting the creative and romantic sector of your horoscope, which will add many joys to life – a child in some cases, a rise in status or a business venture for others and opportunities to spread your influence far and wide. You could even find yourself on stage or taking a leading role in an endeavour.
LOVE
The solar eclipse of January 26th opens a new personal chapter and puts romance in the spotlight – perfect for a Valentine's proposal or wedding. More importantly, Venus will be in the area of relating from the beginning of February through early June, so you have many months in which to shore up shaky relationships, disentangle yourself from unhappy liaisons or find that special someone. During the time Venus will be retrograding (March 6th – April 17th) a relationship could take a downward turn – simply detach yourself and wait it out. On the other hand, this same period could reconnect you with a partner from the past. As soon as Saturn arrives in Libra, however, the work of love must begin, whether this translates as taking on board aspects of someone's life you didn't bargain for, having to wait much longer for a relationship to come to fruition or your being the one to support and sustain your partner.
AND THE REST
The September Librans are first in the queue when it comes to major career changes; plus, circumstances tend to dictate your course. And although it might seem safer to be employed by large-scale companies 2009 would be an ideal time to consider starting your own business or becoming free-lance. The Saturn-Uranus opposition affects working life so you are in year of transition – not everything is set in stone, and you should keep your options open. By 2010 your career map could look entirely different. Do not underrate the importance of having fun – we might be in a recession but finding small joys and allowing your inner-child some playtime will be the perfect antidote to the
planet's blues. And great things may well come out of a social event or a chance encounter.
