Rose's Frickin' Cheese Puffs

rose-152-130.jpgAfter attending a rousing funeral, Sophia decided she wanted to be around to hear what all of her friends would say about her at her funeral. Blanche and Rose decided to throw Sophia her very own wake, and Rose made her famous cheese puffs to celebrate the occasion. Of course the problems began when Rose forgot to tell the guests Sophia was really still alive!

Sophia's Lasagna Al Forno

sophia-152-130.jpgSophia only breaks out this 16-hour dish when she really needs a favor. True to form, Sophia made her lasagna al forno because she needed Dorothy and Stan to pretend they're still married, and because her brother Angelo, a priest, was coming to visit. Angelo revealed his own secret in this hysterical episode, too!

Charlie's Fruit Salad from Beyond the Grave

golden-girls2-152-130.jpgBefore Charlie died, he and Rose worked out a plan for him to contact her if he had to tell her something important: the cantaloupe would all be on one side of the fruit salad. At the sight of this in the refrigerator, Rose fears Charlie does not want her accepting Miles's commitment ring. When Rose returns to the refrigerator later that night for another glimpse of the arranged fruit salad, she finds Sophia eating her miracle.

Dorothy's Moist and Delicious Cupcakes

dorothy-152-130.jpgAt Blanche's moonlight madness party, the full moon makes everyone a little loopy. In a weak moment Dorothy and Rose's boyfriend, Miles, kiss. Dorothy confesses to Rose about the kiss by creating a cupcake metaphor. Simple Rose thinks they're really talking about baking, and insults Dorothy's dry, tasteless cupcakes. Dorothy quickly corrects Rose and explains that men love her moist and delicious cupcakes.

Blanche's Duck a L'Orange

blanche-152-130.jpgWhile not much of a cook herself, Blanche knew how to order the best foods in the finest restaurants Miami had to offer. While preparing to date her younger gym instructor, Blanche "turned back the hands of time" with a strict diet and exercise regime. On their first date, Dirk told Blanche she reminded him of his mother. Blanche immediately grabs the waiter, ditches the watercress salad she ordered, and replaces it with duck a l'orange and a stiff drink.
