Make Someone's Day: Write a Letter
Do you miss hand-written letters? I do. There is something about
reading a handwritten letter that tells you so much more about what the
writer was trying to say than an email, text, or "tweet."Take a moment to think of someone who could use a letter. It might be a friend, a family member, a coworker, a neighbor, or a classmate from elementary school. Maybe you want to thank them for something, tell them what you appreciate about them, or send them a funny comic from the Sunday paper.
Who is the first person who comes to mind? Jot their name down. Who is the second person who comes to mind? Jot their name down, too. Why not add a third person while you are at it?
Take 20 minutes to write one person each day for the next three days. I promise, it will make both of you feel good (:

I've seen you program numerous times on television and i think it's great what you do for couples. I'm writing to see if there is anything you can do for my son and his fiance. In the last four years my son has been through alot he is in the army and has already been to Iraq once and is scheduled to go back a few months after the wedding. He is my only son and we are very close and he has had to deal with almost losing more times than anyone should. They had planned to do a summer wedding and with finding out with him getting deployed again we've had to move the date up so we have so little time to plan and have been having a really hard time finding a church plus somewhere to do the reception. This is one thing that i wish for more than anything i want him to be happy and my son wants everything for his fiance anything she wants he wants to give her. The time is going so fast and theres so much to do still. My sons only wish is that they can be married before he gets deployed out and also he wants to have it done before i go in for more medical treatment. He is the best son and is worried about me very much he wants me there. Normally i wouldnt be asking for help but it has been financially difficult for my so with having to fly back last month because he almost lost me and with the medical problems i have its tough. His fiance also almost lost her dad in July and now he is not working and then when i was in the hospital she lost her job. Just from watching you on your show i can tell you are a very respected man and deserve to be. I know your the person to do this i used to watch you when you did your parties. I will be looking forward to hearing from you. I have told my future daughter in law about you but she is a skeptical about having anything like the weddings you do hopefully she has wrote you to. The wedding is schedule for January 2nd 2010. please if you can help get ahold of me asap because we are crunched for time and right now we're not sure how this is going to go.

I think this is such a great idea. Women definitely love the hand written letter. write something from the heart this is definitely good to use.
