It seems as though there has been a dark grey cloud over Lilly and Janine. Having to overcome the death of Lilly’s dad and other obstacles in their lives, Janine and Lilly have decided to break through the clouds and start a new life in sunny Los Angeles. Lilly is pursuing and acting career while Janine hopes to get work as a personal assistant. Both women are ready and able, except for one major thing holding them back…their appearance.
Lilly is a beautiful young lady with exquisite features and a gorgeous figure. It saddened me so to see this young girl wrap herself in baggy grey sweats day after day. Everything about Lilly was sad to me and I couldn’t help but think that the message she was sending was completely wrong and standing in her way of becoming a success. Mom Janine sees this and wants so badly to help her daughter. Like every mother, it is her greatest wish to see her daughter happy and achieve her goals. She just doesn’t know where to begin.
Janine, on the other hand, may be over compensating for Lilly’s drab attire. She feels bright and happy when she is sporting these oversized tropical print tent dresses. In her own way, Janine has given up and while she claims to feel good in her loud brightly colored prints, she actually confesses to hiding some deep-rooted sadness.
While Janine has so many wardrobe options for Lilly due to her figure and age, Lilly may have a bit more difficult time when selecting clothes for her mom. However, we soon discover that being a larger size doesn’t mean you can’t look great. Lilly is really amazed at how many options there are for her mom, and the thought of her looking really great is so exciting to her.
Like all our mothers and daughters, Janine and Lilly are no exception when it comes to wanting the best for the other. The difficult past couple of years has really prevented them from helping each other and themselves. But sometimes all you need is to take the first step in the right direction and things start to improve. And what better way to begin a new life than to transform your look and start dressing and looking your best.
