About Little Miss Perfect:
Being a beauty queen takes long hours, hard work, and more than a little cash--especially when you're eight years old.   Enter the compelling and controversial world of children's beauty pageants as Little Miss Perfect follows two families as they rush to prepare their daughter for competition in a pageant. Every mother-daughter relationship is unique, and each episode takes viewers deep inside the family to explore why they compete in pageants, how the family handles the pressures of competition, and what they do to score a win.  Meet costume designers and see them create $2,000 dresses for six-year olds; see a makeup and photo session where contestants are primped and retouched to perfection; watch the parents or coaches rehearse and drill their daughters until the routines are flawless; and travel along with the families as they spend the weekend strutting and posing for the judges. Throughout the pageant, see the judges analyze and argue over who best represents their ideals--and who, in the end, wins the title Little Miss Perfect.
