Three foolproof ideas to forward to your significant other.

When it comes to Valentine's Day I'm a bit of a traditionalist--flowers, chocolate, lingerie, or a brief thoughtful gesture is all I really want. With that in mind, I've compiled a quick rundown of my V-Day wish list. Hint. Hint.
OrganicBouquet.com not only stocks flowers grown under certified sustainable practices, they offer over 55 beautiful bouquets that donate part of their proceeds to a charity of your choice--like Peruvian Lilies that benefit PETA.

I fell in love with Recchiuti chocolates on my last trip to San Francisco. Their creations hit that not too bitter, not too sweet mark perfectly. The S'mores kit with its handmade vanilla bean marshmallows or the Dark Hot Chocolate canister made from delicate pistoles (instead of powder) are my favorite--and, quite appropriately, they're meant to be shared.

Journelle, a teeny but charmingly stocked lingerie store near Union Square in Manhattan, is my trusted source for special little underthings from some of the best, reasonably priced lines around, like Julianne Amie or Elle Macpherson. You'll find just as many options on their cutely designed Web site.
