By Terrie Rabon, age 26
I was born and raised in Oakland, California by my mom whom I lost to breast cancer at the age of 15 years. I have two older sisters that I grew up with and five younger siblings of my dads. I have strived and struggled to maintain a sense of self. I have been through so much that I have an understanding of my life's purpose. I am a forgiving, loving, patient, caring, giving and grateful person.
Every chance I get to help someone I do! I want to achieve so much in
the life I have left and there are so many hearts and lives I want to
touch in a positive way. I am a person of many creative talents, from
singing, writing songs and poetry to drawing, painting, acting, make-up
artistry and wardrobe styling. The talent I take most pride in is my
photography - I love it! Oh - last and not least loved is BOXING! I
really enjoy it!
People have judged me in the past as the stereotypically pretty girl,
the one that is stuck up, thinks she's too good, and with a nasty
attitude. They wouldn't think that I'm this smart, funny, out going,
down to earth, caring, average woman. But they are so quick to pass
judgment that most people don't even think to take a second chance to
really know me.
The judgments I find myself making of others are mostly dealing with
the way people dress, I consider myself the fashion police! I rarely
make a snap judgment of others, but as soon as they open their mouths
and start talking I know what type of person they are. That's when I
tend to pass my judgments on others.
I think that snap judgments are always unfair. Only because you will
never know that person until they open their mouth and start to speak
and from there you will be able to weed out potential bad people.
I hope the viewers will see from the show that you can't judge a person
by what they look like. You should also judge people by their hearts
and what is inside, because you just might be turning away an angel in
disguise.
I Think you Should have you own Show. Your personaliy is Great! Good Spirit and Heart! Good Luck to You.
