Wow, wow, wow... This show is truly a blessing to me, season after season! I thought the weddings from Season 1 were exciting, but the weddings you're about to see are like nothing ever before!
I was delighted to return back to the world of "
My Fair Wedding," for season two, especially when I saw what was in store for me... My brides this season were certainly full of "unique" predicaments and disastrous dilemmas -- yet at the heart of every wedding were twelve hilariously spunky, sweet and beautiful, well-intentioned and good-hearted women... and through it all emerged twelve SPECTACULAR weddings that are some of the most emotional and entertaining celebrations I've ever planned! Off-the-wall ideas became off-the-charts weddings. Just wait until you see my first bride, Caroline...
Caroline's jaw-dropping transformation is a GREAT way to start off this season!!! She actually did start with a "jewel" of a wedding theme: She wanted diamonds, diamonds, diamonds. And who is to contend with that?!
But as much as I love diamonds, there were quite a few flaws Caroline and I had to polish up before her big day--and FAST! On our first day together, I even discovered that her fire-hazardous centerpieces would have to turn into elegant works of art that truly shined... and not from blazing flames! But just minutes after meeting, I already knew the perfect way to give Caroline the dramatic, glittering look she wanted, and she'd get it--without a single expense spared.
Without giving all the rest away, I will say this: the "before" and "after" of Caroline's wedding gown will simply take your breath away.
I hope you tune into the season two premiere of "My Fair Wedding with David Tutera" for a wedding that will start off the season with sparkle and will make you believe that every diamond in the rough is actually a shining gem.
T minus 31 hours and counting till David!!!
I'm sssoooooo ready! I can't wait to see what magical creations he has put together for this season.
I wish he had been around back in my day. I wanted a black and white wedding....but with the bride in black and everyone else in white with touches of red. Coming from a conservative family that wasn't an option and I didn't push it. My mother looked at me as if I had been possessed by demons for even suggesting it. So I figured if I wanted to actually get married instead of spending a few months locked in a rubber room somewhere I better change the subject and go with a nice shade of pink.
I design and make custom wedding cakes so I have been approached with some wild ideas over the years. And my main reason for commenting was on the off chance David stops in to read his comments I wanted to thank him for having such a wonderfully, wicked sense of humor and because of that sense of humor I feel like he has definitely had a hand in teaching me a much better way of dealing with these sticky situations.
While I have never busted out laughing in anyone's face over a cake but I have had to bite my lip a few times to keep from blurting out "WTF."
I'm getting much better at handling those situations with humor and ease now so I'm not nearly as uncomfortable waiting for a new client to unveil their ideal wedding cake.
So I thank you David and my lip thanks you too :)
Now that I have talked about everyone else and their wacky ideas, what do you think you could throw together for my black and white wedding....on the off chance that I'm able to scare up another groom???
Great first episode. I loved the diamond white theme. Where can I find more information on the cake? I'd like to feature it on my blog!
I absolutely loved when David worked his magic with Caroline - I LOVE the wedding dress he choose for her and must MUST MUST find it!
I love his style so simple at times yet so elegant - I wish I could afford him for my 2011 nuptials.
I loved it. He always has great ideas. My wedding theme actually is more like Caroline and I love the Diamond Place Cards on the show. Where can I get them?

Hi David,
Please put Caroline"s wedding on the slideshow section. I want to see the photos of her wedding. Caroline and Wanda had the most beautiful weddings I have ever seen on any wedding show and in my life.
I LOVE YOUR SHOW, DAVID TUTERA...My cousin turn me on the show, as we are planning for my wedding ....AUG 2011..I just love your overall style. This is my first wedding (his second), I would like everything that I have dreamed for come true..but..with a low budget and very little knowledge, would you help me make this a extra special day....and very rememberable...Thank you....HOW DO YOU PICK YOUR BRIDES????????
I too would like to see the slideshow on Caroline. I am trying to find those silver charger plates that was on the show. I have gone all the way to NJ to find them.
