When I met Dayira, I thought I was on a sugar-high...This bride definitely showed me some wedding plans I had never even imagined, even in my sweetest dreams!
On our first day together, I discovered Dayira wanted to have her wedding cake...and eat her entire wedding, too with an entirely edible celebration. Everything was made of candy, from her wedding bouquet created out of bundled lollipop roses, to gumball centerpieces, and her crazy (yet very creative) ceremony archway that would be made of giant strands of red licorice. Both shocked and puzzled, I mused over the question at hand: Could I let my saccharine-savoring bride get married in sweet style while eliminating the "CandyLand" surroundings?
Dayira definitely wanted to be different, and I started from the ground up... With a brand new fabulous wedding gown from my friends. Designer Matthew Christopher and gown guru Gabriella of Gabriella New York gave Dayira had her looking like a sophisticated starlet. Then a visit with Cake Alchemy and a meeting with some very talented dessert dynamos at the W Hotel Union Square help Dayira calm her craving with great "taste!" Finally, with some surprises up my sleeve for some creative, colorful decor and a brand new unbelievable venue, Dayira would finally have her sweet escape. Stay tuned this Sunday for Dayira's delicious dream day.

David, I am ecstatic to see this episode! I love your work and I was wondering if there was any way you can help me. I'm only 17 and I'm planning my mom's wedding for October 2010 up on her mountain property in W.V.. I've never seen a woman who deserves her dream wedding as much as my mom does. Her first wedding was in her living room so I really want to make this wonderful for her. Any major tips you can give me? I'm sending out my S.O.S. :)
My fiance and I are planning to marry on May 15, 2010 in Bakersfield California. One thing is I live in Arizona so I am having trouble trying to get the planning done. The only thing I have for the wedding is my dress, veil. I want purple and white for my wedding and my budget is 10,000. Help.. I do not know how to plan a wedding that will be amazing and have bling/sparkle with that budget. I don't know where to begin.
I hope my future wedding looks amazing just like the ones you do!! this episode surprised me, it looked so beautiful and I'm jealous of all the women who get to be on your show, they are so lucky
David, I have a couple questions and I hope you can help. I have a full figured bridesmaid, and another who will be 8 months pregnant at the time of my wedding. Do you have any advice on choosing dresses for these girls? Also, I fell in love with the wooden bouquet from Bayyina's episode but I can't find a florist who can do this, where can I find something similar?
Thank you!
Brittney

Hello David,
Wow love your show and your style! My wedding is 3-20-2010 and is coming up rather quickly. Just a few questions? Theme is Tropical with lots of sea glass , the wedding and ceremony are in the same place pbsail.org . Is it okay for all 5 of my Bridesmaids to choose there own style dress as long as it's the colors i want? Does that really matter? Also how can i change and old sailboat house into a tropical retreat(lol) hard one i know. But it was in the budget! Moms doing decorations so i will not know until my wedding day. (oh boy) and can I have a traditional ivory wedding cake if i have alot of blue for the wedding colors? But my gown is ivory. I am alone on this no friends or family close by, so its been a real struggle. Thanks David for the inspirations! I will keep watching!
Much Love
Diana Cleveland (upcoming South Florida Bride)
Thanks David. Even though I haven't been a bride for over 15 years, I love how you treat each one of your brides as a princess. After each episode I also take some "lesson" and apply it to my own parties (so far my favorite is "no F-A-K-E anything). Thanks for a wonderful show!
First of all I have to say that you made this Bride BEAUTIFUL!!! See, I am one of those people who do not wear make up and when she walked down those stairs I was truly blown away!!! I LOVE IT!!! DAVID you are so AWESOME!!!! I am getting married June of 2010 in Albany, New York and would love any advice that you have. First of all my bridal party consist of 14 Bridemaids and 14 Groomsmen, 1flower girl and 2 ring barrers and out parents, so it pretty big!! I just want everyone to have fun and walk out talking about our wedding for a long time. But how can I make this beautiful and a low budget. Dont really have a theme because I am just a real plain person. I dont know but they way you have these girls bring out there inner thoughts and beauty I know you would be able to make something happen
You are such a pleasure to watch David. Handsome, classy and you never make any of the brides feel bad about what they "were" choosing. I've been married for 13 years and you make me want to get married all over again!! Thanks for all of your inpirations...you are truly one of a kind ;)

Hi David...first let me tell you that I truly enjoy your program. You are amazing....I thought this one would have you stumped.........the part that really got me was the "red candy" wrap for the reception. Luv the look on your face when you heard that one.
