My next bride, Noelle, came from a line of strong, independent women. She was hard-working and determined to make her wedding day what she always wanted, even if it meant she would have to do it all herself! When an unfortunate financial situation wiped out everything Noelle and her fiancé had saved, she had to become even more resourceful. While she was doing the best she could with what she had, she still had trouble pulling together an elaborate affair. When we met, I was ready to change her luck by changing everything about her wedding.
Noelle planned to have her wedding in the backyard of her parents' house, but there was one humongous problem--there was no way she would be able to fit everyone she had invited on her asphalt driveway! She had decided some of her guests would sit inside a tent and some would sit on the grass outside it. I couldn't let her have some unhappy people on her hands when she (and her guests) should be enjoying her wedding day to the fullest.
A venue switch was the first thing needed: her "southern belle" wedding theme (not to mention her guests) would fit much better in a real southern estate! A brand new wedding gown was also a must to replace a sundress she was using after she sold her real gown to finance other parts of the wedding. New dresses and accessories for her bridesmaids helped me do away with homemade headpieces and embellishments and brighten their look (and Noelle's big day!) with splashes of color. And what is a traditional wedding without "something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue?" And the surprises kept unfolding for a bride that needed them the most.
A star-worthy cake by cake guru Sylvia Weinstock took Noelle's wedding to the next level, and the décor for her ceremony and reception had just the right amount of quintessential charm... At the end, Noelle gave her guests a great helping of home-style sweets and southern hospitality. Stay tuned to see this elegant affair this Sunday on "My Fair Wedding!"

Do you think that David even reads the comments? How about fill out the information. He's a busy man. I honestly would not be suprised if he didn't look at the website in general. I wish I could talk to him. I have looking into wedding planning but have not been convinced that it is a dependable job. "My Fair Wedding" is a once in a life time chance and i am so happy for those people who get to experience it.
David, don't forget about Chicago....:-) I am ready to get "hitched". haven't popped the question "yet", but...........10, 9, 8, 7, 6......and counting. Could be the show of the year.
hi David : (I REALLY LOVE THIS EPISODE) Really touch me when you put a piece of her mother dress in the flowers. My name is YAJAYRA and I LOVE TO BE ANOTHER LUCKY BRIDE IN YOUR SHOW. I just want to let you know that make me so happy to see all those brides smiles at the end of the show. I just hope that all the brides in the world end up as the one's in your show. I am also getting married next year probably in the summer. I have a friend who is also getting married in the same time. At first i felt very happy about it because we both are best friends. And i was happy that we finaly will be getting married together. I was hopping to be her godmother but i guess she didn't pick me up because of my budget. I don't blame her. I am still kind of sad about how she talks to me about how beautiful and expensive her wedding will be. I feel happy for her but not my case. My husband and i don't earn much and that's why i don't like to talk about the wedding with my husband because i don't want to be another package for him. He wants to married me i know he loves me and i love him too. For now until my wedding come i am just trying to save some money to make at least this dream become true. To be honest i don't really care about a expensive wedding all i want is that day to be perfect in companion of my baby and lovely husband and maybe a descent reception for the guesses. I have some cheap ideas that might help me in my wedding but i need some good ideas from a expert like for the reception which i have no idea where to make it. Please David Help me out with this wedding . I Just hope you read my letter and if you don't just hope that god hears me and bless you for all you done to those brides. I wish you could come to NY! :(

Hi David
This show was the BEST.. I loved this young lady. She was ssssssssssssooooooooooooo pretty and very appreciative. It seemed as though use had a very special bond. I laughed and cried through the whole show. Especially, when you added part of her mother's dress. The mother did a wonderful job rasing this young lady. (did not want to blow her nose on her mother dress) how sweet. Then you add the design in her cake how touching. This show deserves a 10. My friends and I watch youe show every Sunday and all we talked about at lunch was this special show. I have just one Question we were wondering is her mother's name IS Cinderella. Because if it is this show tops all.. what a story. It left me crying and laughing...BLESS THIS WONDERFUL COUPLE

Hello David. I would like for you to grant a wedding wish to a fine young women who I have grown to love and call my daughter. 9 years ago I met a young women who lost her real mother when she was ten and lived with an abusive step mother and her biological father that allowed the step mother to abuse his children. I am a social worker at high school in the inner city. This young lady came to school one day and said she could not go back home. I said okay and went on with my day. At the end of the day she came back and again declared she could not go back to the abusive home. I tried to mediate with the family. They told me she could not come back to the house to make a long story short this young lady came to live with me an my husband. Nine years later we saw her through her last year of high school and 5 years of college. She has never asked for nothing and she is very grateful. We are now seeing her through a special of day of marriage. It would be an amazing gesture if you could help her dream come true. Her name is Aileeemah Cannon her wedding date is September 18 ,2010. in Newark, NJ We watch the show together and I asked her if she would like to have you help her with her wedding she replied "why would he want to help me when he could help aunt londa (my sister) who has lupus and her wedding is before mine". This shows her caring and unselfish spirit and lets you know she is very deserving herself of something so special. PS even if you can not do her wedding it would be nice for her to come to the city to meet you and share her wedding ideas with you.
Hi David! I am very excited to leave a message on here for you to see. I absolutely love your work and designs. You are one of a kind. What you do for a bride and groom, is amazing. Well I am 23 years old, and I live in Brooklyn,NY...not too far from some other brides that have been on your show. I am interested in these bridesmaid dresses you used in "my fair wedding" for Noelle and Steven. The wedding was a Southern chic meets city i believe. The dressed were a floral gown with crystal embellishment on the umpire waist. Please let me know, like I said, I am really interested. Thank you again!!
Hello David, I love watching your show, it's amazing makes me cry every time.I was wondering how does someone participate in the show?I have been engaged for 3 yrs. my fiance had set a budget of $10.000. However his daughter got engaged a ear ago and set her date for this year as well. Since she's his only daughter and her mother dies a couple years ago.He is paying for the whole wedding. So that means he's digging into the $10.000 that was for our wedding, because her wedding is costing about $25.000. I am so upset but can't change that decision.Well now our budget is $3,500. LOL Unbelievable ha?I really want to get married so I am accepting this budget and a reception hall that is not my dream reception. So I really need your help. If you can help me please. I will be forever grateful!
