Dawn and GrantLast Friday when I was in Los Angeles for meetings I stopped by the offices for the production company that is making the sextuplets series for WE.  Eric the Producer showed me his editing suites, etc. where his team was putting the finishing touches on a series and a special for another network.  He showed me some clips of the special and it looks really good; it's also in the babies genre, as is his other series, and the quality of all the work shows why he has been so successful in this genre.

I also got an update on our series.

Dawn and Leslie were both in Lake Havasu City, finishing up a week's worth of shooting for episode two.  And on the day I was at Eric's office, the crew was at the hospital with Jenny Masche, who was having surgery to deal with all the excess skin in her stomach area.  If you have seen how amazingly distended her belly was when she was carrying six babies on her petite frame, you will know how much her skin was stretched out.

And even though she is in great shape, running marathons, as thin again as she was pre-pregnancy, no amount of exercise and dieting was going to help.  So, with only a minor complication, the procedure went well.

Not to mention that the construction of the addition to their home is well underway, the babies go to a fundraiser to help out a family friend suffering from brain cancer, Bryan has a follow up with the clinic on his quest to lose weight, Bryan studies for his MBA, both parents work at their jobs, and six babies need to be constantly fed, cleaned, and watched.  Just another week in the life of the Masches...

And Eric showed me a photo of the sextuplets at Halloween - very cute, as you can imagine.
