Yesterday I received the rough cut of episode 102 and, not surprisingly, liked what I saw. The production team did its usual bang up job of shooting and editing compelling stories. We will try to post a couple of clips next week or so; I am going to be at RealScreen, a non-fiction television conference in D.C., which might slow things down for a few days, but sooner or later you will get some new video.
So what happens in this episode? To me, the hour is about the inherent conflicts that arise between any husband and wife who have differing parenting styles. Jenny and Bryan love and trust each other, but there are times when they get frustrated--as does any couple. So we see them work through some of this.
Jenny goes back to work for the first time in almost two years, an hour's commute each way to a hospital where she is a physician's assistant. Consequently, Bryan takes on more solo time with the six babies.
The Masche's lone tree is located right where the house is going to be expanded. Bryan wants to remove it, but Jenny, not having grown up in the Arizona desert, wants to save the greenery if possible.
Bryan checks back in at the weight loss clinic to see how he is doing.
And it's costume time as six babies become six little bumblebees for Halloween.
Later today or early next week I should get the fine cut of episode 101, a more polished version of what I saw a couple weeks ago. I will write about that in an upcoming post.
