It turns out that the Sextuplets got bumped again on Larry King Live last night, due to breaking news. Doesn't every day have breaking news? Regardless, they instead taped a nice long bit with guest host Dr. Drew, who has triplets of his own. This is supposed to air Friday nights.
And let me ask you to check out our wetv.com site for a program I mentioned once or twice earlier.
I am executive producting this one as well, it's titled Most Popular. It's a different kind of series for WE and I think it feels like nothing else on TV. So that could be good... or bad. The premise is provocative and at first glance seems like a guilty pleasure, but it has surprising layers and poignancy. Here is the link:

Thanks for all who have commented since the series premiered, I appreciate the feedback as long as it's constructive - which 99% of it has been. I especially enjoy the mothers who say they can relate to this family.
Finally, I have given notes on the final cut of the last episode of the season, #106. We will post a few clips in the next week so you can get a sneak peek.
Can't wait to see the interview, hopefully, on Friday!
Tonight's episode of "Raising Sextuplets" was great. It is so refreshing to see "real" moments, as opposed to "staged" or "planned for tv" activities as on "that other" show.
Jenny, Brian, and the kids are adorable. Their relationship appears real and believable. Even better, they seem to be the typical family next door, they just happen to have six children and are on TV.
This episode was great. The "saving of the tree" was a genius weave into the show of what real families are focusing on now-taking care of the Earth. Brian's dad and brother and Jenny's parents came together to make it a family affair. I loved how they let the kids play in the water after the tree was replanted. The kids looked as if they were having a blast. No "mom freak outs" because the kids were in the dirt, or getting dirty. Jenny, Brian, and the grandparents were having just as much fun as the kids. Proof that dirt and mud are fun and does wash off. Kids need to be kids! (As do parents, sometimes)
I hope this series continues, and it is just as the last two episodes have been--real.
I am interested in seeing the day to day life of raising multiples, and parent/child interaction. Parenting doesn't have to be a "struggle", matter of fact, it shouldn't be. As is with any venture, it is what you make it.
I could relate when Jenny sat on the floor and let the kids sit on her and drink their bottles while her friend finished the pumpkin carving. Jenny initiated the project. She cared enough to want to do it, plan it, and then follow through with it. So she was tired from working. Big deal, aren't we all? The kids had fun playing with the pumpkin "guts". Though the kids may not remember their first pumpkin carving, it is one of the many traditions Jenny and Brian can continue with them, and they will have memories of the "pumpkin carve off".
Kudos to this show! It is a winner hands down, and just at the time we needed it!
