This week's episode of
The Locator is a very intense experience, at
least for me. I'm not going to blog much about it here because I really
want you to experience the journey as it happens. I will tell you that
having a young daughter myself, who has battled cancer, made the
selection of this Angel Case very easy for me. But the emotional
roller-coaster it put me and my staff on was exhausting.
The woman making the dying wish, Carolyn, is a beautiful soul and I know you will feel for her and with her as the story unfolds. As you watch, be ready for anything! It will help you come to truly understand what I mean when I tell people, if there is anybody from your past that you would like to reconnect with, do NOT wait. Do it today! Life is short!
ARE YOU NEXT?
Speaking of looking for somebody, now is your chance to be considered for season 2! My team and I are hard at work reviewing potential Angel Cases, looking for the next family I get to meet. Will I be coming to your home soon? If you or anyone you know is in desperate search for a missing loved one, the SHORTCUT to my staff is to click this link and tell your story:
http://www.troythelocator.com/ReuniteOnTV.asp. Hurry! We are reading them right now, literally!
SPEND THE DAY WITH ME!
Also, if you care what I'm doing periodically during the day (most don't, LOL) sign up for my Twitter messages at
www.Twitter.com/thelocator. I drop little notes all day long wherever I am, whatever I'm doing. It's just a peek inside my sometimes exciting, sometimes frustrating day! (Like this morning, I had to shop for a new side mirror for the car because my teen son "killed" an innocent mailbox on the way to school!)
PERSONAL CONFESSION!
Did I ever tell you I am the biggest fan of Christmas in the whole world?? I can't wait! (But it's 88 degrees here in Florida--not exactly holiday weather.) Any suggestions of where I could take my wife for a short two day getaway to see some fall foliage (in the East coast)? Looking for ideas!
Well, I need to call mom and see what cases she and Team Troy are working on. She's so awesome to work with! Great mom, cool friend.
Blog ya later,
Troy

Hi Troy, My girl friend told me about you after she watched WETV. I hope you can help me. I have been looking for my daughter my entire adult life. I was forced into putting her up for adoption because I was only 16 yrs old when I had her. My mother would not let me come home with her. Please find my daughter. The records are so close and yet I can't unseal them. Even if she doesn't want to meet me I just want to know what kind of life she had and that she is OK.

i want 2 find my dad ive never met him i jst know ia lilbit stuff bout him if u can get bck 2me dat would b Great
Personally I have lived in New York state all my life. I don't understand the attraction to the cold weather. I would like to see what it feels like to sweat on Christmas day lol. But I would recommend New York state in the fall the leaves are amazing. As far winter time the best part of it for me is driving around looking at the Christmas lights there is something about the snow and the Christmas light makes it magical. Plus it is a nice family thing to do! Any place they have mountains usually have alot of snow. Hope this helps Virginia Bush
I have a 10-year-old daughter with very serious medical conditions and I have no idea of my father's side of his family and their health line, so getting information for my daughter is crusial for her future. I know that you are very busy and probly have thousands of requests, so I will not expext anything, but I would like to ask for your help if there is anything you can help me with. I am not looking for a magical reuniting as much as I am looking for a mirical for my daughter. I think what you are doing is spactacular.
Hi my name is Aphrodite Fernandez. I have been looking for my father for 15 yrs now. I last saw him for ten minutes when I was 9yrs old. My mother seperated from him when I was 4 yrs and my sister was 2 yrs old. I tried all avenues to finding this man. I had no such luck but money takened away from me and no answers or results. I have two beautiful boys that I want him to meet one day and I have a void that I want fulfill in my heart. I heard nothing but amazing stories about what you do for different families all over the world. I hope you can help me find my father after 25 yrs.

Hey I already left two comments! but I just cant tell you how much you would mean to me if you could help me find my father:) You would make me the happiest 16 yr old girl in Louisiana! Its strange becouse I have unconditional love for this man that I have never met before! When people ask me if im mad about not haveing a father in my life, I answer with yes and no. I mad, fustrated, upset, sad, and everyother emotion you can think of. I want him to love me, and I want him to know who I am ! Your my one and only hope i have to finding my father. I him around to scare my boyfriends, tell no "You cant go out with the freinds", or I cant do that or I cant do this! Its really hard to sit and listen to people when they talk about them soing things with thier dad. I want to be the one who is sitting there tell stories about what we did on the weekend or what we did over the summer! I want to know why he left, was he scared or did he not want to screw his life up. I dont know , but I want to know! I have so many questions for him. I could go on and on and on about him. It strange becuase I could talk about him for ever and he isn't in my life but in a way he is! And as a father you love you children unconditionally. I just wonder if he can love me the same way you love you children. Thank you for taking the time for reading my comment!

Hi, this is my 1st time on here. I have a something I need help with. This is my desperate attempt for help. Since I was born 24 yrs ago, my mother has been living like a dead woman alive, and I'm scared that she will die this way. Her 2 children were taken away from her when I was born by her ex husband. He took advantage of my mother's youth and ingnorence at the time. My mother now hasn't seen her children for 24yrs, or her ex husband. I don't know what else to do or how to go about doing anything else to reach her kids and tell them that their mother is alive. Though they'll be filled with questions and confusion I believe this is something they all need. It may take a lot but, I don't care. This is something I've seen my mother cry and cry about since I can remember. On their bithdays, mothers day or anytime she sees a reunion show, and watching her like this all my life huts so much, almost as much as this has hurt her. I just need any information as to what I can do or help.
Thanks,
jennitejada
Troy: The North GA mountains are absolutely gorgeous this time of year - Blairsville. The leaves are now changing, and you and your wife will love the cool mornings and evenings. We have a home in Cape Coral, and it is refreshing to escape to the mountains for as much time as possible. Check it out! http://www.unioncountyga.gov/

I taped your show tonight. It is episode #8. Carolyn Funk and her daughter Cassie.
It stopped recording when the words popped up to tell about what has happened and I didn't get it.
Please tell me what happened to them!!!!

Troy and Team,
I love watching your show. Some day I hope I can get your to help me with finding some of my lost or missing family. I'd like to tell you the entire story of my messed up family and see if there's a way to figure it all out. I have been trying for years to figure it out and the more I think I might be getting closer, the more messed up and confused I get.
At any rate good luck with helping Carolyn. I wish you all much luck !!
Take care all of you and look forward to reading your blogs.

Troy,
I know u mentioned the East Coast for a getaway with your wife. Personally, go to the midwest. In Wisconsin Dells, they have a plenty of places to stay at during the winter. You and your wife could do some skiing or whatever. Check it out by going to www.wisconsindells.com.
