Hi and Excited Greetings to our Locator Friends! I can't believe Season 2 will start airing in less than a month! Mark your calendars, heck, have a Locator Party and tell us all about it! MARCH 21 is the date, 9p|8c.
And no, we have not completed Season 2, so keep those e-mail submissions coming in because there is still a chance that your story will be considered. You can submit it by clicking on "Casting" right here on our WEtv.com Locator homepage. I was surprised that we didn't get that many "Lost Loves" submitted around Valentine's Day. Maybe I am the last of the "Romantics!"
The Locator will be airing during the Memorial Day observation, so if any of you Vets are trying to find an old war buddy who saved your life or who shared the front line or foxhole with you, let us know. Those are just a couple of ideas that I wanted to throw out to you. We are open to any of your stories and are humbled that you share your life changing experiences and most personal stories from your past as you seek out your missing piece. We will still be reading and considering stories for at least another six weeks so again, there is still time!
Another 'Locator Tip' is: You might want to stock up on Kleenex because this season's stories and the awesome people who became part of our Locator Family & the Angel Search process have touched all of Team Troy so deeply. Happy tears...most of the time, but not always!
Hope you enjoy the fruits of Season 2 and we wish we could have helped each of you...that is the hardest part of all!
Let's continue to help one another on the Locator Talk forum...just click on "TALK." Thank you for all your encouragement. I am positive that we/WE have the most loyal fans and viewers and we really do care about each of you.
Hugz and Namaste, Katie Dunn

Hi Katie. I have been a fan of "The Locator" since day one. I LOVE this show! I'm always sad to see it nd at the end of the season.
I just wanted you to know that the work that you, Troy and the team do is so important to people like myself. You see I put two babies of my own up for adoption. One of my children I placed about 4 1/2 years ago, and my youngest baby was adopted about 3 years ago. You all give me such hope that one day my children will come and find me. PLEASE, keep of the GOOD work. God Bless You All.
Hello Katie,I just want you to know my husband and I watch the Locator every week can't wait for Saturdays to come to see the new episodes tissues nearby we were in those families exact places of where do we fit in the puzzle the whys and the who's.My husband was adopted at birth, he knew he was adopted at the age of 7. But who his birth parents were was never revealed.Thou he asked as he grew it remained a secret until 1/1/09 the governor of Me. made it possible for adoptees to get their sealed records. Finally we had the names of the biological parents the search was on,Dad was no problem finding but deceased the search was on for Mom this was hard being a woman changes her name after marriage. He was raised as an only child we now know he has 2 biological sisters had a brother who passed at the age of 4.The 2 sisters were also adopted but they were together the brother was in a foster home.He also has 3 half sisters and a half brother. And yes we did find Mom many questions to be asked so many of the puzzle of their lives to be put together. He has met 1 sister&a half sister in May he will meet his other sister and another half sister .In June we will drive to Pennsylvania to meet his biological mother. My husband is 52 mom is 74 this may be the only chance they get to see each other.I hope he can get some answers that he so needs to hear.Keep up the good work .
Im 41 and my mom passed away this pass June and I found out that she was not my mom. That a sister that I had was actally my mom. And Im looking her so I can find out her medical history. Her name that I know was Barbara Ann Spruill not sure what her last name is now. I have tryed the people seach with no luck.
if there are 3 sides to every story you sure left out the mothers side of the story. the father was a wimp who didn't care about her. now all hearts and roses. puke city. shes a brat.
I was reunited with my dad about 10 years ago as my mom would not let my dad know where I was. She told him that I was getting into a huge amount of trouble so he called my wife and they sorted things out. I got to here from him a few days later after not hearing from him since I was 2 years old which was almost 30 years. I flew to his house about 5 years ago for a huge reunion that brought closure to a part of my life that is now closed. My mother did not want me to go through with it and sadly because I found out the truth about everything I no longer share any of my life with her. Since that time we have had constant contact. I will be flying "back home" to see him this summer for about a week and he can't wait until I get there. I wish however that I could do more with him & my step mother but, that is not possible.Since I was reunited with my dad, I can relate to a lot of what this show is about and look forward to it.
Hello Troy, I just want to say that what you and your team do it's just amazing. You can't imagine how much I love your show, even when it makes me cry. Every time I watch your show I imagine myself doing the casting and you taking my case. A couple years ago, at the age of 22 and just a week after giving birth to my child I discover that my dad wasn't the birth dad and it was my mom who told me. I love my dad so much, he gave me everything he never had, I had the perfect childhood thanks to my dad but after knowing that he wasn't my real dad I just wonder what happened and why they hide the secret from me so many years. My parents been divorce for around 6 years and don't get along, and I don't want to ask my dad what happend with my birth dad, because he doesn't know what I know. Sadly I never had a good relationship with my mom to ask her about it. I just hope one day to have the courage to ask someone and maybe appear on your show. Until then, the best wishes for you and your beatiful family.

I like your show. It's very heartfelt. Unfortunately, this comment is not going to be any different from some of your others. I need help. I will try to make this short. My mother disappeared 20 years ago. I am 25 now. I had hired a PI and he just took my money and did nothing. I have received strange calls from an FBI agent wanting information. I have 2 daughters, 6 and 2. My oldest is always asking questions like why dont I have am mommy like she does and every time I think of how long it's been. Please contact me. I do have alot of information. I just need extra help. I have emotional and psychological issues because of all of it and I just need some closure in my life. Please contact me at micky_lynne@yahoo.com Thank you for your time.
Whenever I see your the 'preview' of your show and before I click to see it-I ALWAYS get my box of kleenex OR? a whole roll of toilet paper. It's the best-------and because I have several family members that I desperately NEED to find it makes me feel as tho there just might be a little hope for me in my 2 circumstances. PLZ keep doing what you guys do SO well!
Thak you
I know like all the other note posted my story is the same as most others. I do want to let you know I love the show and thought maybe you could help me. I am 42 years old and have not seen my father since I was 19 months old. For various reasons my mom left him and they divorced. Up until about 2 weeks ago my mom said that if I tried to find him she would disown me. But I have children that are 21 and 17 and I think they and myself have a right to get to find out something about our family that we don't know. I hate going to the doctors and they asked about past medical history and I tell them all the stuff on moms side then they asked about Dads side and I have to tell them we don't know. If you could help it would be great and if not oh well I lived this long without him I guess I can keep going on living without him and the rest of the family.

I had what I thought was an address for him he lived is Massachutes but he never wanted me to know where he was which was ok for me but for my daughter I would like for her to at least talk to him. he called about 7 years ago. the only reason he had the number was because I had the same number that I had when I was younger a long time I lost contact with him due to my anger but I am past that now and I want my daughter to know her father. I know that we are supposed to post that we love the show and I do. I just hope that maybe someone in your forum might know something, His name is Troy Knight I hope someone knows something.

I'm a desperate mom who has been searching for her now 30 year old son for over 2 years. I think I narrowed it down to somewhere in Portland, but all the searches come up showing Gettysburg PA where he grew up.
Is there any way you can help me? Every night I pray that I will find him. I have left messages all over the internet trying to locate him.

i have just recently heard about the show The Locator. Im a soldier in the california army national guard, and i have been looking for my father since i was 16. Im 23 now and would like to know where he is. I think the show is going to be awsome because its reuniting people with their loved ones. I pray that one day i will be able to find my father whom i have never met. I wish the show good luck and hope for many season's to come.
Katie, My step mom has contacted you guys consering her lost daughter Eilene Weber. Eilene was adoppted from the Philipines as a baby. My step mom, Stephanie Craig, is dying of cancer. Stephanie wants nothing more than to see her little girl before it is to late. PLEASE PLEASE help.!!! We are all at witts end trying to find Eilene. So much has changed since Eilene disapeared. We all want her to know how much she is loved and missed. Can you help? Lori
Hi Katie! I have been anxiously waiting for this season to start - can't wait! I just watched Alexia's story & as usual, had to break out the tissues! I think it was a great idea to put a full episode on line! I emailed it to my friends and family. I asked them to watch and to pray that one day my case will be chosen. I haven't seen my 26 year old daughter in almost 6 years. I wrote in for season 1 and was contacted for more information, but not selected. My hopes are that my daughter will either contact me because of the show or on here own. I just need to know that she is ok. I can't begin to imagine what it must be like to live without ANY link to family... what she must say to the people she is with? How does she feel during the holidays? The worst part I think is that our birthdays are the same. I'm SURE she must remember me on our birthday. Does it break her heart then? She must be very afraid. I don't understand... One day I'm sure I will.
While Im here, I was wondering if you ever announced the results from last season's essay contest? I submitted an entry and remembered reading that the winners would be selected sometime in November, I think. I 'm hoping that no news isn't bad news :( ! At any rate, I was just wondering if I missed something.
Well, thank you for your time and for all you do to help so many. I keep you and your team in my prayers every single day.

Stephanie -- looking for my daughter Eilene
Why didn't the mother get contacted? I know she was an 18-year-old, which is technically an adult, but the mother should have been contacted. It could have saved you a lot of time & money. In cases of divorce, there are often 3 sides to the story: his, hers & the truth. Being a divorcee myself and having to deal with raising a child alone because the father has decided to "give peace" I think perhaps the young lady could have benefited from speaking with her mother. Your portrayal of the mother was very unfair, in my opinion. Just please next time, take a moment to think of the other parties who may be involved. My heart breaks for that mother, because that could be my daughter in 5-years. I enjoy the show but please consider all sides especially when the client is so young.
Hi Katie! Can I just tell you what an amazing journey it has been to have invited Troy into our lives. He is truly a prayer come true and I can't wait to watch the new series! I have heard it is amazing!
Katie you are hilarious! You are just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside. God really did make some beautiful people in this world. A smile, like a laugh is truely contagious. More people need to smile. The world would be much more pleasant if more would smile, a real smile. Happiness belongs to the meek and humble. Happy is a cheerful giver. Have a wonderful day.
Well, aren't you just the nicest person! It's just a more flattering picture and lighting I'm sure. I suffer from the ol 'turkey gobbler' throat, smile lines that scream for botox and eyes that were once twinkley and are not crinkley! Gravity thing...ugh! But I just try to keep saying the mantra, "I am not my body!" lol...not working yet but hey, I am so blessed in my life that I feel guilty about being so vain. You can only imagine how much I dread cameras! But itsn't it great being a woman and living in this time...so exciting. We have so much power of influence to make a difference in the world. I love it. So, again thanks for compliment and thanks sooo much for your support of THE LOCATOR!
