Troy DunnThis week, there are TWO very special episodes of The Locator, which I am especially grateful to share with you. As you may know, cancer lives in our home--our daughter, Josalin, has battled it since she was 7. She is 11 now and kicking its butt. (The Lord has blessed us.) But I am very sensitive to those who live with it and always eager to bring joy to those special people whenever possible.

Unfortunately, there are more people with cancer asking me for help than I can help. So I struggle to select those whom I feel I can help in a timely manner. It's a tough choice everyday, but one I accept. Because when it works out, it is one of the very most rewarding experiences life can offer.

Do NOT be afraid to watch these two special episodes of The Locator--they are not about dying; they are about living. They are not just about closure--they are about new, fresh beginnings. I ask you to gather your family to watch this very special hour of The Locator and then take a few minutes afterward to discuss what you saw, felt and think. It may be one of the best family conversations you've had in awhile.

May I say a genuine "thank you" to you for spending the extra few minutes each week to REMIND all of your friends and families to catch the show. I know how busy folks are these days and it's easy to forget to catch the new episodes of The Locator, but it is SO IMPORTANT to keep spreading the good word about the show, so we can keep rebuilding more and more families far into the future. Please blog, Twitter, post, e-mail, whatever, so we can continue to expose new people to the little family-friendly show you and I have created together--The Locator.

Before I end this blog entry, I HAVE to give props to the extremely gifted and talented Kelley, AKA "The Video Chick"!! Did you see her musical tribute to the Locator??? LOL! My kids and I sat and watched it over and over, laughing a little harder each time! It even features TWO very special members of our family, who also watched the video with us!

Kelley, you are dangerously gifted! For anyone who didn't see it, do not wait another second! Click here and discover the crazy talent of the woman Weird Al once called "a stalker!" www.wetv.com/video/20018522001/a-tribute-to-troy-dunn

Kelley, I am sending you a special gift from the set of The Locator and I'm sending you an identical second one to give away to any WE tv viewer you choose! Thanks for the tribute, Video Chick!

Okay Locator friends, go remind everyone you know (and don't know) to catch this week's very special back-to-back new episodes of The Locator!

Locate ya later,
Troy Dunn

just wanted to tell you that i love your show. i cry everytime i watch it because i too have been looking for my birth mother for a very long time. i am now 50 yrs old and she is about 71 yrs old. i have never met her and would like to find her before it is too late, especially now that my oldest daughter, 18 yrs old, has been diagnosed with dvt and pe, blood clot in her arm and another one in her lung. she has always been healthy and doctors say that it is genetic; we know about her dads side of the family and i know about my dads side of the family but i don't know anything about my mothers side of the family especially the medical history. i will not give up in finding her because i need to bring closure to that part of my life that is missing and feels void. i know that at least i have an older sister about 3 to 5 yrs older than me. i have no money to pay any search program because i am separated and i'm a single mother struggling to make ends meet. so if you could lend me a helping hand i would appreciate it very much. i have written before and understand that you are a very busy person; you truly are an angel and i admire what you and your team are doing. i only know my mothers name because of my birth certificate. the person that raised me was my paternal grandmother and she is deceased and also my father is deceased, so the only family i have are my daughters whom i love with all my heart and thank God for them every day of our lives. God bless you and your family.

Dear Troy & Staff-

In 2001, I finally located my father after looking for him for almost 20 years. To this very day, I remember how I felt when I saw him for the first time, how he smelled when I hugged him for the first time and because of your show I get to relieve that moment every time I see it happen on TV. Thank you so much for letting experience the best day of my life all over again. See my dad died about 3 months after I found him, but in those 3 months, I discovered more about myself and my dad then ever before. I know I am am better person for having my father in my life. So thank you again for bringing joy into the lives of so many people. Melodee

I love this show. It has made me cry every episode i have watched especially the episode where the girl and her brother were looking for her mom and when found the mother didnt want anything to do with them. broke my heart. I come from a family who never talked about their families and just recently a sister contacted me to find out medical info. didnt even know she existed but now she wants nothing to do with her sisters and brother from her birth family. wants us to be called friends when someone was to meet us. I have done a lot of research to find my family but no luck. This show gives me such hope that one day before i die that i will find out something about my family. keep up the good work.

Dear Troy, your show is my favorite show on T.V.It has touched so many lives, especially mine.I think I cry every episode to see the reunions & happiness of so many people.I have tried for years to locate a young woman that I nursed at Shriners Hospital. She was 14 & I was only 18.I can not afford to pay money to find her.Her mother had died & we became friends .I use to hide under her bed so we could visit.I have always wondered what happened to her.Anyway I just wanted you to know you are the greatest & I hope this show will always continue & be an inspiration to others, that you just never give up.I just wish there were no reruns.May God bless you & your family.

Hi Troy!It is Stephanie Leo from the Last Sister!Just wanted you to know we are All still in touch. After the shows Desiree and I mended things, and they are great!! I have been watching all the new shows and they are fabulous! My favorite is the story of Daniel given up at birth in Bakersfield. This story touched me to my soul for my own personal experiences that I never got to share with you. I think still you are truly an angel. I want you to know I will be praying for your family. You have a lot of courage to do what you do when you have a child battling cancer. Sounds like she is a real trooper. She must take after you!
Thank you soooo much- Stephanie Leo
