Hey Locator friends! Another season of The Locator has begun (as of Saturday night!)

I can't wait for you to meet the extraordinary people featured in this season. And surprises? Oh boy, will you be surprised at the outcomes of some of these journeys this season!

In fact, you may be surprised (or shocked!) when you see one of the stories in our season premiere. You will meet a man named Robert who is trying to 'fix' past mistakes. I am all for helping people heal and repair broken relationships. And I was eager to help Robert reach out to his 18 year old daughter whom he owes some serious explanations to...not sure if that was the right thing to do or not. I'll let you be the judge of that. I will come back here and read your blog comments after the show, so come talk with me Saturday night. Let me just say this one gets a little... messy.

The premiere episode will also introduce you to a beautiful soul..Cindy, a woman with a dying wish. But don't let the word 'dying' fool you. This is not a sad journey, quite the contrary- it is a celebration of life and living. Cindy will inspire you, uplift you and cause you to take a long look around at your own life and blessings. PLEASE tune in and meet her.

For those of you who are into Twitter, I am tweeting my way through the season and hope you will follow along with me as I criss-cross the U.S. To make it a little more fun, I am going to occasionally toss out a little Locator show trivia question and the first correct response will get free Locator merchandise. I may even tell you my exact location while traveling and see if you can LOCATE me! The first one to find me will get a gift when you get to me. (MAybe just a hug, LOL! KIDDING)

I continue to be so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this wonderful show and I continue to give YOU the credit and thanks for letting me do it. If you hadn't gotten everyone you know to watch, we wouldn't have a hit show and wouldn't be able to continue granting wishes for families across the U.S. So thankyou and keep it up! Spread the word about the season premiere please. We want to send a clear message to the world that there IS a place for family-friendly tv shows. Please let your voice be heard all over the web.

I have a surprise for all Locator fans which I will announce in my next blog entry, so watch this space! Gotta go, mom and I are reviewing cases right now and I have a son's football game to get to!

Happy reunions!

See you on Twitter!

Aloha, Troy! (From Ewa Beach, Hawaii)

Praise God for using you to become a vessel in reuniting long lost families and friends from past years!! To God Be the Glory!!!
I have watched all of your episodes, and am really inspired with the work you do! Especially to find out that you helped, my LONG LOST FIRST COUSINS from Germany located their biological father, a SAMOAN!
His name is HAROLD 'Lafaele' Faumuina Felise. He had been apart with his two daughters from about 28 years and you helped his kids locate their Dad.
I was curious to know when that episode will come on. So I can notify our siblings here in Hawaii to look out for it on our local TV.
Once again, much Mahalo for the work you do!

Troy, After viewing the episode regarding Wendy and the mom who rejected her reunion efforts, I feel so compelled to tell Wendy that she is a wonderful person and truly a kind caring individual. Please tell Wendy that she was in my family's prayers and that we all agree she deserves SO MUCH MORE than what has transpired.
Sometimes in life we are dealt unfortuanate circumstances in which it appears there is no positive outcome. I do not understand her mother's reasoning and it appears that her mother carries shame for her actions. Wendy's mother listed her accomplishments in her response, none in my opinion, carry any weight. Her need to list her self-proclaimed accolades was an attempt to make herself feel better. Whether Wendy knows it or not, she is a beautiful, strong and kind person who demonstrated courage and compassion in her attempt to find her mother. I commend her for her strength, vulnerability and determination. Obviously those are learned characteristics by the family that raised her. I do beleive that there are many blessings in her life, perhaps masqueraded by her attepmts to find her mother. She has a wonderful family who taught her love, responsibility, courage, and so forth. I hope that Wendy has a wonderful life and knows that she is a wonderful person who should carry no shame or guilt about her mother's character. Wendy's strength and inner beauty is the result of the family that raised her. Any mother, and I am one, would truly be proud to have a daughter like her. May she be blessed with a wonderful life and find peace. I frequently use the term "Living Well" as the true meaning of life. That is not measured by personal achievements and material things. I believe that "Living Well" means being able to accept your actions, find peace with yourself as well as others, and to realize the beauty that you and others possess. Wendy, please "Live Well" !!!!!!

I love watching this show but it makes me sad too because I have been looking for my biological father for years. I am 30 now and haven't seen him for 24 or so years. Yea, I have anger too but have been depressed for 10 years about the situation. I have no dad and have been wanting a dad for a long time too. It is sad when you are 30 and wanting a dad. To me talking to just someone isn't good enough because it isn't a dad. Hopefully I will be a lucky person someday!! I am happy for those that have found loved ones! :)

Hello Troy,

As you embark on the journey toward each case you accept, you provide a wonderful gift to every individual fortunate enough view it. Your heart is God given and your ability to show compassion to those who do not always seem deserving is exemplary. You really made me understand that it is never to late to open your heart and mind to those who may have hurt you. The healing and closure you provide for so many is a blessing above all other blessings. You are unique in every way that could every matter. Thank you, from our home to yours!

Hi Troy,
I admire you so much for all that you do for these people. I just wanted you to know I was one of these girls looking for my dad the one I never knew about I searched and I found him when I was 30yrs old We have a relationship for five years now but I missed alot all because my mom waned us to think better of her but at mine and my dads expense and that is one thing I have learned was If I had children I would never keep who their father was a secret. Keep up the good work and can you show some different stories i have seen some about ten or more times

Thanks your admirer

I was just watching the newest show....Cindy and Rebecca. I am 24 years old, and my name is Amy-Marie. I was not a part of my father's life until I was 18...I can COMPLETELY relate to Rebecca's anger! I still have letters that I wrote my father when I was younger. I harbored a lot of ill feelings toward him, and I still get mad sometimes! I just want her to know that there IS happiness out there! And, there is always someone out there to listen! Whether is be a total stranger, or yoyr best friend! I know I'm here to listen!
