The Reunion That Wasn't, Then Was
The episode this week is one of my favorites this season! This particular Angel case caught my eye (while I was reading thru thousands of emails) because it began as a plea from a young woman who wanted to help her Aunt Donna find the daughter she relinquished. I love when people reach out to help others! I'm a big believer in the 'pay it forward' concept. (I prefer to call it a 'pray it forward', LOL).
What REALLY made the decision for me was when I read the following detail about this case -- Aunt Donna had previously been located by a girl claiming to be her daughter. The two of them quickly fell in love as a mother-daughter. Although they hadn't met yet, they traded many emails and long late night phone calls. One day, they figured out that there was a mistake. A huge mistake. They were NOT mother/daughter after all!!! Imagine how that would feel! The devastation was deep. You will hear all about it when you watch this episode.After I learned of this, I KNEW we couldn't leave this woman wounded and wondering. We HAD to make this our Angel case!
Please tune in and experience this one from start to finish as I think you will be surprised at some of the turns it makes. Quite a journey for sure!

Thanks Troy for making Donna's dream come true. My name is Michael Gardner and I am Donna's husband. I was with Donna when she had that unfortunate mix-up with the other woman who thought Donna was her mother. It was devastating for them both. Donna has been 'walking on air' since the reunion with her daughter. I haven't had the opportunity to meet Gail yet, but hope to do so in the near future. Gail and I exchange emails and we are linked through FaceBook, so we are getting to know each other. Once again Troy, thanks for lifting the 'unknown' from Donna's shoulders. We both will be eternally grateful for your help accomplishing what we could not, finding Gail....
