If you're having an evening wedding, you'll most likely feel more sapped than sexy by the time you tumble into your wedding bed. Still, granny panties and an oversized t-shirt just won't do.

Traditionalists might want a vintage-style chiffon peignoir set (translation: matching nightgown and robe)--the kind you can find in the intimates section at any high-end department store. They are romantic and certainly bridal, but not for everyone.

A little less predictable but equally conservative is Leontine Linen's silk charmeuse Gabrielle Gown. The sleeveless style is especially pretty, and can be monogrammed with your new initials.

La Perla's baby dolls are classically demure, while Ralph Lauren's tuxedo-style sleepshirt is sexy in that my-boyfriend's-shirt way. Teddies and garter sets are hard to pull off (without seeming like you're trying too hard). So if you're looking for something with a little vroom-vroom, try Catriona Mackechnie's Little Bow Peep silk panties, which you can wear with a teensy white camisole, or better yet with nothing at all.

Whatever you decide to wear, pair it with a spritz of Chanel No. 5 and a pair of Kumi Koonkoon silk slippers.
