Furniture rentals sure have come along way from the traditional ballroom and folding chairs...these days, your options are so much more! With weddings I've been seeing lately, a lot of couples are taking their cocktail hours or afterparties and turning them into full on lounges, with comfy sofas, chairs and even coffee tables...its like hanging out at a great bar before and after the party!
I love this idea because it makes the wedding so much more relaxed feeling, and I think even stimulates conversation among your guests. Rental companies are popping up everywhere, but 2 that I particularly like are Green Room and Taylor Creative. Taylor Creative has a great selection of super modern furniture, like Louis Ghost chairs, which are perfect for hip weddings. While Green Room also provides modern furniture, they understand that not EVERYONE is uber-modern, and provide other options as well if you're not looking for all white furniture. Both have locations on both coasts, so definitely give them a look.

I love this show.I have found inspiration from the shows that I have watched.I am 64 Years Young and will be getting married on Feb.12,2010.My first marriage lasted for 42 years and my Fiance' had a marriage of 20 plus years. Both of our spouses passed away.
We were so blessed to find each other and have been dating for 2 years. My problem is finances. we have found a site for the wedding that includes dinner for a party of 75. We have had to not invite some very special people because of finances. I did not have a real wedding the first time.I am trying to make this wedding very special.My budget including rings and wedding attire is only $3000.00. We are unable to have attendents because of the money involved.We are unable to have a honeymoon so we will spend one night at the Hotel that the wedding will be in. I am looking forward to this wedding so very much. David is my gift from God.
