Hilarious and Haunting Pregnancy Dreams

Whether due to hormones or anxiety about impending motherhood, pregnancy often brings with it some bizarre dreams.

During my second pregnancy, I dreamed that I gave birth to a baby with a kitten face. I remember being annoyed and saying "It's cute, but if I wanted a cat baby I'd have just gone to the pound." During my third pregnancy, I dreamed that I had a preemie and was supposed to care for him by suspending him from a hammock in the corner, where he drank from a hamster bottle attached to the ceiling. And it's not just me experiencing disturbing and downright bizarre dreams while gestating. Pregnancy and weird dreams go together like pickles and ice cream, and I've collected a few of my favorite recaps of pregnancy dreams from the blogosphere:
