Oh no! We’re sad to report that Toni Braxton is no longer dating her estranged husband, Keri — the father of her two children. In fact, she’s been dating a Caucasian man who likes to hike. So will the sexy singer find love again? According to astrologer Yasmin Boland, don’t rule out another reunion between Toni and her husband. “In her chart (Toni is a Libra who was born on Oct. 7, 1967), it appears that Toni is still upset about things from their past. There’s a very rare astrological event going on: Mars, the planet of anger, is going backward, heating her Pluto, which is another anger point in her chart. It’s like she suddenly got stuck in the past. Until she gets over her anger, it will be hard to move on,” Boland says.
But there’s some good news in Toni’s forecast, too: Jupiter, the planet of good luck and freedom, is aspecting her love planet, Venus, so if she can tap into that and feel happy about being single, her love life is going to be much, much better, Boland says.
“I would advise acupuncture, which can help release anger from the past, whereas if she bottles it up, it just festers,” the astrologer recommends.
Last fall, Toni spoke publicly about dating a Caucasian man for the first time — or as she told Anderson Cooper, “I’m beginning to play in the snow a bit.” In a separate interview with “Access Hollywood,” she revealed a few more details about her mystery man. “He likes to hike and black people, we don’t like to hike,” she said.
These “cultural differences” seem to be a big deal for Toni — and Boland thinks it’s because she’s probably pretty cautious by nature.
“Overall, she wouldn’t tend to be someone who dates really daring people — she’s probably quite cautious when it comes to love,” the astrologer says.
Toni also told “Access Hollywood” that even though she’s dating someone new, she hasn’t fully unleashed her wild side yet. “I’m new at dating, so the slut in me hasn’t come out yet,” she explained (and yes, she used the s-word). “I’m not ready to be public. I don’t know if it’s going to be serious. We haven’t even…” she said with a certain gesture (if you catch our drift). Boland says Toni’s chart explains her hesitation in this department, too.
“She has Venus in Virgo, the sign of love and relating. Virgos are very famous for being chaste on the outside and kinky as anything behind closed doors, so if she does bring out her inner wild child, we won’t see it,” Boland predicts.
That said, Toni has the potential in her chart for a very sexy first half of 2012 … and she just might cross paths with Keri again.
“In her chart, there’s a lot of past stuff to do with love and sex,” Boland says. “Maybe she’s dealing with that, maybe she’s holding a flame for this guy — she’s holding on to stuff from her past that she hasn’t dealt with and doesn’t want to deal with. I wouldn’t be that surprised if she got back with her husband again.”
As Toni herself told Sister 2 Sister magazine last fall regarding her marriage (she and Keri separated in 2009), anything is possible.
“We told the kids, ‘Sometimes mommy and daddy need a little break.’ That’s probably why I haven’t done a straight divorce yet. You never know.”
