Hey guys! I was so nervous about my surgery, and about how long it would take to completely heal. I decided to tell my family all at the same time because it was easier for me to only explain my reasoning once. The morning of my surgery I had my “wusband” Keri with me, as well as Towanda, Mommy, Daddy, & my assistant Zo. After the surgery I was uncomfortable, but I was so thankful for my family and their presence during the whole process. They were so understanding and caring. It took a few months to completely heal, which I didn’t take kindly to – I like to be independent and productive. But my sisters were very helpful and encouraging. My mom was with me the entire time after the hospital, to help with the healing process. My family was my support system throughout the entire process.
