My favorite part about my wedding day was seeing my husband's family and my family talking and getting to know each other. Just having our families and close friends there in one room was amazing. I'd love to have another reception! I also LOVED being center of attention walking down the aisle! I felt like a million bucks! It took a good two years for me to plan the wedding. We wanted to get married sooner, but it just wasn't in the mix for us. We even considered eloping. When we mentioned it to my husband's mom she freaked and wanted to be there. Then she wanted his grandparents there. That defeated the whole purpose of wanting to elope. We pretty much had a formal wedding/reception for our friends and family. If I could change one thing about the wedding I would have hired a wedding planner so things would have run smoother, especially for the reception part of it. We had planned to do all the decorating in the reception hall and it did not turn out as we planned. We should have been more prompt to the chapel, but unfortunately we had our guests waiting for an hour! It was a little embarrassing! For our honeymoon, we stayed in San Diego with our family and friends. We decided to wait on a honeymoon because we wanted to go to Europe and it's really expensive. We didn't want to go there on a budget, we wanted to splurge. BUT I found out on January 10th that I'm pregnant! So we're having a "honeymoon" baby! I guess we'll have to take our little one with us to Europe in a couple years! I didn't really know what to expect being married. I didn't want to set my expectations too high and then be disappointed if it didn't go the way I expected it to. I learned that the hard way while dating Brandon. Nothing has changed much since we've been married except now we have a house, bills to pay and soon enough a baby to take care of! We have a bun in the oven! We found out it's a healthy baby girl on April 24. I think this will be our only child. It's been a rough pregnancy so far and it has yet to get worse as I get bigger! Is there a "Pregozilla" show that I can be on?? I'd be perfect for it! I'm always complaining to my husband about every little thing, I'm sure he's sick of it already! My Bridezilla experience was unforgettable! It was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity. I was always curious how it would be to have a reality show with cameras following you everywhere - it looks so easy but it's not! I had to make sure I was always camera ready, even at 6 in the morning! Our friends and family were very supportive and patient through the filming process. If I had a chance to do it again, I would! Through all the drama, I had TONS of fun! |
