“I believe I Looked Like a Queen Fit for the Prince in a Disney Movie”

I bought my dress at a store called One Night Affair. The total cost was $1400, which included the dress, veil, alterations and additional train. I’ve always hated white dresses, they look cheap to me. My dress was an ivory St. Pucci designed dress with a ball gown princess look. It was so simple and sexy with a sheer and embroidered corset top with pearls and small rhinestones. The dress had the most beautiful big Cinderella-like ball gown bottom! My favorite part of the dress was my corset of course! It gave me the vavavoooom I was looking for, while still remaining traditional and classy.

I really don’t understand the importance of shoes that will never be seen under such a large dress, but my shoes were nonetheless gorgeous. I wore a very low heal with rhinestones covering it. But for the majority of the ceremony I wore “something borrowed” from one of my bridesmaids; cute Tori Burch ballerina shoes. :) My jewelry was purchased the day of the wedding by my grandmother. She bought a simple drop necklace with a pearl with matching earrings. Loved them! My hair was once again, “princess-like.” I had a small portion up in the front, with cascading curls down my back. Everyone said I looked like a cake-topper. I believe I looked like a Queen fit for the prince in a Disney movie since my hubby to be looked like a King in his military tux.

This was definitely the dress of my dreams! I only wore one dress because I felt that was all I needed. I wouldn’t have changed a THING about my dress. I didn’t tell anyone how much it really was going to cost. I just MADE it fit into the budget.
