My name is now LaJune King and I am 27 yrs old. It would take me a while to think of the favorite part of my wedding day considering I was hungover and cramping. Not only that, I didn't get my hair done until 5PM and my wedding started at 5:30! If I had to choose my favorite part it would be me playing dress up and my dad's appearance. His tuxedo turned out great. I'd had words with the tuxedo company hours earlier. It took me 6 months to start planning the wedding because I was in my friend's wedding and as her maid of honor, I wanted to focus on her. Once her wedding was done, I got started with mine. The dresses had already been picked out earlier last year. I'm a person who knows what I want and I'm not going to shop around for other options. You should always go with your first choice! If I could change one thing about my wedding it would be to not deal with foreign people that refer their friends and family members to do a job as well. They stole from me by the way and tried to blame it on my wedding coordinator. She left before I did so I know she had nothing to do with. Oh, did I mention I walked my own gifts out? So far, marriage is no different from courting. I've only been married 8 days. I'm still getting used to my husband wearing his ring everyday. We just returned from Costa Rica and we expect to take many more trips together. I know he wants kids before he's 30 but in reality, I'm the one who has to gain weight and throw up everyday, not to mention get stuck with needles. We'll compromise. I'll give him one kid and he'll be my caretaker for 12 months. This is an experience that I hope no one else wants to grow through. I personally am not the typical bride. The only part I loved was changing gowns. I'm a fashionista and no matter how big my bitches are, they were going to look as amazing as do I. I recommend going to the Justice of the Peace. My husband, Dimitrius, finally decided to jump on the bandwagon AFTER we've already paid for crap. Bridezilla all in all, has made me ready for the cameras!! No, I live a fabulous life outside of Bridezillas. You guys have helped me see who is really there for me at the end of the day. On another note, Bridezillas has haunted me for the past week. When I'm asleep, the cameras are still there. I find myself on speaker when I'm on the phone and sometimes riding around without sound in my car. I wish future brides the best and avoid the tradition at all costs! |
