My favorite part of our wedding was walking down the aisle. I felt so beautiful and overjoyed at what was about to happen. I also couldn’t wait to see my husband’s face when he saw what I did to my hair! It took about 8 months to plan my wedding. I knew I wanted something simple, but memorable, beautiful but not gushing, and most of all, affordable but not cheap looking. If I could have changed one thing about wedding it would be some of my bridesmaids. I would have had more reliable people from the beginning so I wouldn’t have to deal with the hassle of kicking people out. My husband and I unfortunately didn’t get to honeymoon because my son broke his arm the day after the wedding so we were grounded.

The first year of marriage has passed very fast. We did a lot in a short amount of time, including adding a special addition to the family. So it has definitely been busy and at times we haven’t had much time for each other, so we are hoping for some “us time” soon.

The Bridezilla experience was special to me because it gave us an opportunity to document one of the most important days of our lives, Although MOST of the time I was seen under stress and faced with difficult situations, this experience allowed me to relieve some anxiety I was feeling about my big day. Some people don’t realize this is my second marriage; my first husband passed away. Although I have healed from that situation it still weighs heavy on my heart because I look at my new husband and don’t want to imagine life without him. All the memories and fear came out around the time of this wedding which may have upset some people but my husband is very loving, understanding and patient so that’s how we made it through the wedding day alone.
