My favorite part of our wedding day was as I was getting ready, knowing I'd be walking down the aisle and saying our vows to become husband and wife. He is my everything and I couldn't have asked for anything else. There wasn't really anything I'd change about our wedding. It was everything I had hoped it would be and more. For our honeymoon we went to San Antonio and stayed there for the weekend. We went to the Riverwalk and to the zoo. Instead of going somewhere that cost a lot we decided we wanted to save our money and buy a house. So we bought a four-bedroom brand-new house. Now that we have the house, Jerry and I are planning on going to either Cabo San Lucas, Mexico or Cozumel in May for a week. Our first year being married has been amazing. In 2008 we said our vows, bought our first home and we both got job promotions. It has truly been a blessing. I didn't think it would feel much different being married but I love every bit about it and I love when I get to say “MY HUSBAND” when I am talking to someone. It has truly been a blessing to have married Jerry. Regarding kids, Jerry and I are enjoying married life right now, and getting settled in our new home. We have talked about children but we want to wait a little while to have one. Maybe in the next year or two we'll have one. |
