My favorite part of our wedding day was marrying Carlo, and having our family become one. The one thing I would have changed about the wedding would have been to have the cake with chocolate fondant then with the pink fondant. We had discussed this after we met with the baker but never got around to changing it. I think it would have gone with the color scheme better. All in all it still turned out nicely. Our honeymoon was amazing. We took a 10-day cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. We were there for a total of 12 days and we had a blast! We got remarried on Maui and it was the most amazing thing. We met five other couples who were also on their honeymoon, and we all still keep in touch. Our first year of marriage had its trials and tribulations, but we have emerged as stronger people as well as a stronger couple. I am sure we have gone through what every newlywed couple goes through the first year. As for children, we are expecting our first child in early October, and we couldn't be more thrilled! I have two children from my first marriage, but this will be our first together. Dona and Carlo in Maui
