What was your favorite part of your wedding day? My favorite part of the wedding day was when James and I got to speak our own vows to one another. As all the viewers know, my wedding was disappointing as it was not at all what I planned. I reflect on our vows when I think of our wedding day as it was a moment of pure joy If there was one thing you could have changed about your wedding what would it be? I would have recognized that I didn't have the help I needed despite many promises, and James and I would have eloped on a beautiful, tropical island with just our kids as witnesses. The whole experience taught me who my friends really are and what constitutes friendship. I learned valuable lessons. The honeymoon was fabulous!!!! One week in Mexico was just what we needed after the wedding we had. Sunshine and distance! No cell phones, no visitors, just the two of us. It was absolutely wonderful. The first year has been wonderful and we are more in love than ever! We are now homeowners and life with James has been my dream come true. I have even written a book (My Wedding Was Horrible! 10 Mistakes to Avoid When Planning your Dream Wedding!) about my wedding planning experience in the hopes that other brides will never experience what I did. Are there any children on the horizon yet? James has a 17-year-old son and I have a 20-year-old daughter. James and I eagerly look forward to grandkids (way down the road)!
