About Chuck
![]() |
Whether it's through the radio airwaves of Sirius Satellite Radio, or through the sound system of numerous comedy clubs throughout the northeast, stand-up comedian and radio personality, Chuck Nice's insightful brand of comedy comes through loud and clear. His razor sharp and quick wit have earned him a large and loyal following on the radio, where he is the resident funnyman on the popular The Radio Chick morning show.
This born and bread Philadelphian is a ten-year veteran of the stand-up comedy circuit, having performed in major clubs throughout the country.
Chuck has appeared on television programs including Showtime at the Apollo, HBO's Snaps, The Uptown Comedy Club, and MTV's Sex in the 90s. Chuck can also be found every Thursday night on WE tv as the host of our weekly Cinematherapy movies.
After plying his trade on the road, Chuck came to New York City and quickly became one of the more well known and popular performers on the city's stand-up comedy scene. He answered an open call for a sidekick for veteran radio deejay Leslie Gold, better known to her listeners as WNEW-FM's The Radio Chick. Despite the competition, Chuck was the unanimous choice to become the show's comic relief, and soon after he had thousands and thousands of loyal listeners doubled over in laughter.
When The Radio Chick moved up the dial from WNEW-FM to WAXQ-FM in January 2002, she did so with Chuck at her side. The brief gap in time between the two stations gave Chuck an opportunity to further hone his craft, and he spent virtually every night performing stand-up at area clubs, solidifying his position as one of the industry's top up-and-coming performers. Chuck Returned to the airwaves in January of 2005 as part of the all-new RadioChick Show on Sirius Satellite Radio Channel 148, which airs daily from 10-2 (EST).
While the early morning hours have reduced the number of night's he's on stage, Chuck still forgoes a good night's sleep for the thrill of entertaining audiences with his infectious brand of comedy.
