I need some advice please.

I'm new here so thought I'd ramble on about some things on my mind. I've had a rough couple of months and I feel like pulling my hair out. I lost my job back in November so, if you have been in my shoes, you know how difficult finances can be when there is no income coming in. Thankfully tho, I was hired to work at a local hospital but it's going to be nights and is not starting until the end of Feb. I am glad I got a job tho. I am engaged to be married to a wonderful man, David, who has been with me through this hard time. We are getting married in May and that is very exciting. Since I have not been working, he has been helping me with bills, finances and everything else I have needed. That now means $0 has been saved for our wedding. We don't want anything big, something very small and "cheap". I have looked around at the dollar tree and other stores in that genre and have seen a few cute things that are inexpensive for a wedding. I have a 6 yr old son who is so excited about this wedding. He has had it so hard these past few months also...me not having money for his school functions or for general things he needs. I feel like a loser and I'm not sure how to pull all of this together. I guess I am writing this to see if anyone can offer any advice to me. I appreciate any insight offered. Thanks for reading this.
