About two years ago, I began looking for ways to supplement my income. I researched and found out how to become a mystery shopper. I did this for about a year, before discovering ways to make money online, working around my regular 9 to 5 job.
In the last year, I have made an extra $1250 to help out each month. If you are interested, I invite you to view my site http://singlemompayingoffdebt.blogspot.com/ for all the information to get started today.
Please know that this is NOT a get rich quick scheme... those do not exist (or if they do, I have not found them yet). This is just an easy way to add to your monthly income, perhaps to use for gas, groceries, paying down your credit card debt (like I am) or maybe it is to save for a vacation or a new car.

I have spent some time on here reading your stories and have noticed that some of you are looking for a new way to either make some extra money, change careers, or find that extra "something" to look forward to. I am not here to advertise, but more to offer you a suggestion that happened to help me out. A short while ago, I decided to become an Arbonne consultant (as you can probably tell by my screenname). It changed my life. I make extra money, made a ton of new friends, and have a completely new outlook on life. I do work full time and have house to run, but it is exciting. My point is ladies, is that in todays economy, maybe changing jobs isnt necessarily the answer if the one you are at is at least stable, maybe adding something additional might be what you need. Any questions, I am here. You can check my website http://mariacatalano.myarbonne.com and email me from there or write back here. Again, just sharing a story, it truly did change my life. Maybe this isnt for you ladies, but it did work for me. I hope this helps!

I hope that all of you had a Happy 4th of July. I did I got the opportunity to visit our nations capital. I saw some of the most beautiful fireworks I have ever seen in my life. After all I have been through with LOWE'S and unemployment, this was exactly what I needed. I realized that the capitol is where change has been made throughout history. I realized that if I want change, then Capital Hill is the place to go. I plan to challenge some of the discrimination that you expierience with assistance agencys when you are poor. Some of the policys that are in place allow discrimination. It will allow a case worker to decide if they will help you because they want to. It needs to have set regulations with checks and balances for all involved. You should not be discriminated by race, religion, or disabilitiy and so on. Well anyway if you have any comments that you would like to give I am very anxious to hear them.

I am updating on the previous entries I have made.I just found out that my previous employer paid my bonus to the runner up. This is dishonorable. I have contacted lawyers and no one will take my case because I am underpriveledged. I called my local legal aid and they dont help in this area. This is America. I thought that our rights are supposed to be protected but I guess that is reserved for the privledged. What do you think?

I recently entered a blog about what do you do when all you do is enough. I want to add something to this question. I told you ladies that I had to give up a job at LOWE'S because of my husbands illness. When I was working there I participated in a contest that I won.
I got my store recognition for #1 in district and 5th in th reigion for the most credit applications. LOWE"S is now refusing to pay me the 480.00 bonus that I worked so hard for. It really upsets me because that is taking away from my family in more ways than one since I am unemplyed. I was raised to think that what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong. My grandfather taught me (God rest his soul) that if you work hard you will be rewarded. It does not seem to be the case in the workplace any more. I think that if you work for something you should get paid for it. i was greeted by all the big managers and thanked for my good work. I also helped by giving good customer service everyone in the store a bonus. Is this what I deserve?

I am a mother of 5 boys. My husband became seriously ill. I feel like that no matter what I do I can never provide what everyone needs. I have worked many places in life and I have worked very hard. I have found that being a woman in any workplace gets you the lower pay. It doesn't even matter how smart, efficient, or loyal you are. My husbands illness made it virtually impossible to work at any job for a long time. It has ruined us finacially in everyway posssible. One of the reasons is no doctor can seem to figure out what is causing his helath problems. We are on state insurance and the doctors just dont seem to care. I recently had to give up a job at LOWES. I was doing great showing what I was capable of and then boom I had to leave because of my husband. I am not complaining but I am tired of being caught in the middle. I need freedom from the everyday burdens. I need the wings to fly with. I am going to try to goto school to be and OB nurse because birth is life and that brings me joy. Anyway, thank you for listening and I look forward to hearing your comments.
