My dog Wily used to get sick every time he was in the car. I would put him on my lap and stroke his head. I would also put him in the car when it wasn't running to get him used to it. I have two other dogs of the same breed that do like to ride so I would try to get him excited by telling them that we were going for a ride. The other two would jump around and gradually Wily started to get excited about going for a ride. I used to have to pick him up and put him in but now he gets in on his own. Huge difference!
