Why not give couples that can't afford a wedding the dream wedding. Instead of always doing shows about couples getting or giving brides the perfect wedding when they can pay for it themselves, give it to someone less fortunate. Trust me city hall weddings are not all that when you have your set on the big fairy tale wedding.

What a way to be an example "on AIR'' and to make a pretty good fool out of yourself... I questioned everyones marriage...and how long they would stay together... Its so ridiculous that people have lost the meaning of a marriage and that they go agaings everything that they portray in their vowels before their wedding. These people make the generation to come not even want to get married... Its so pitiful...How the women talk to the men or sometimes how the men talk to the women...someone please tell me that this is all just an act, and no one really acts like that!

Though I love this show, I also have a love hate for it. On the show, there is a couple "Dawn & Jeremay". I wonder, "How Long Will This Marriage Last". Jeremay must have serious insecurities to even think to marry Dawn, because throughout the entire show, even AFTER they got married, she treat him like he is a child. She talks to him like he is dirt. I really believe alot of these brides are marrying for the "Idea" of marriage and they have no clue. I did not see love I see verbal abuse. Do the grooms really want to marry these woman and spend the rest of their natural born lives with them? Although I wilsh them well, I see distaster between Dawn and Jeremy. He need to stand up and be the man of the house and put his foot down. The constand embarrassment to show him in front of people is sickening and even after they say their "I do's" when they went to the hospital to see her mom, the constant word that came out of her mouth was, " SHUT UP" Lastly, how can Dawn require Jeremy to "LOSE WEIGHT", when she could lose a some pounds herself? I hope their marriage last, or was it staged for TV.. I wonder!!

Okay, so I am actually already married, but my husband and I were not satisfied with just going to the courthouse like we did. He said he feels like it won't be and I quote "right until we do it in front of our families". The only problem is the fact that our families say we shouldn't do it because we are already married. But not all our family knows we got married, so we decided to go ahead with it and start planning it. So I was wondering is it still okay to do everything you would at a wedding for our vow renewal ceremony i.e. (Unity candle, bridesmaids, garter toss, bouquet toss) Oh and did i mention we have 3 kids, none of which were there to see us get married!?!? I really want us to be able to share our special day with our kids so is it okay to do all the things people do at "weddings"????

My fiance and I have been engaged for 6months now and our wedding is set for June 6th 09, and this is the third date we have set and this was suppose to be the last. I'm starting to think we should not get married in June. In order for us to get married we would have to take out a bank loan and I'm afraid of it hindering our future. My parents are beyond in debt so they can not help us and his parents don't like me, so they won't help. So I'm just wondering if I should call it off and try to continue to work on my realtionship with his parents so we have their blessing and their help or just go ahead with June. What would you do?

My son and his fiance are trying to plan a Medieval Themed wedding for Oct. 2009. I guess "inspired" is a better word as they are not going totally Medieval. We are having trouble finding ideas for the reception decorations. They also are working on a tight budget ($5000). Is there any help out there?
