death by driving
I want to know how resonsible the sons father was to be driving at abuot 90 mph no HELMETS hellow and doing POT???????? My heart goes out to the daughter that doesn't have her mother and the stupid judge "not admissable" both of them were in the wrong the driver of the car & driver of motorcycle
This jury for this trial should be sent to jail. And this is not just an expression. They did not review the events at all!!!! They convicted her because she drank and drove, and called her "reckless". Since when a jury gets to throw the counts in the trash and make their own? The one count against this woman was MANSLAUGHTER not reckless behavior. And one more question, since they where so hung up on the drinking and driving. Imagine this woman drank and then drove, but got home without the accident happening, would they be in that court for that trial? Would that trial take place, at all? NO, then their duty was to judge her ON THE ACCIDENT AND THE DEATH OF THE KID, not on drinking and driving. If the jury was not to take into consideration the father's emotions but the LAW, how come then that they were allowed to use their emotions instead of the facts during deliberation?
DISCLAIMER: I do not support drinking and driving. mind you, I so don't drink any type of alcohol that I don't even use mouthwash. But when you're a juror in a trial, your duty is to be as fair as humanly possible.
