Who was speaking for Aliza

I think its pretty bad that a mother can knowingly put her child in danger over and over again. Watch her suffer and die and protect her killer and be out of jail in less than a year. Trust me if my daughter had 2 broken ribs I would know it!!!! He shot her and she still moved back in with him!!!! I feel that there was no justice for the little angel that suffered so much and knowing that her mom didnt do anything to save her. I know she did more by the smirk on her face when she was wheeled out of the court room. How can you smile when your child is dead!!! Good job jury, hope I get a jury like you if I ever need one. Wish the jurors who knew she was guilty would have held out.

Behind Closed Doors

Just watched this episode! WOW!!!!! Being a survivor of domesic abuse I both empithize and commend this woman of courage. We must all make a greater effort to meet the needs of our sister close at hand that may be silently dying. I need to thank Janet Sheridan for saving my life, many years ago. She stood up to a very abusive man ( to whom I ws not married), when I was not able. Dared him to retaliate, and helped me pack my things. My life began over again that day. Please do not judge, but act when you recognize this tradgedy.

Melanie McQuirre episode

I had to leave the room and didn't find out if she was found guilty or not. Can someone fill in the missing link for me?
She was the nurse that had the affair with the doctor and her husband (gambler) was found in many pieces in the river. It was the first of last nights episodes.
Thanks.

Killer Moms

In this episode, a women was accused of stabbing her son to death. She was only in jail for TWO years before they took her back out and found her not guilty. I could barely watch this episode, it made me SICK. That women should have stayed in jail. 20/20 focused on the defense and made the prosecution look evil. I think the show was originally made so somebody would watch it and sympathize with this lady. That is exactly what happened. The defense tried to say that some random cereal killer broke into the house and murdered the boy. This is absolutely ridiculous. The court never even found the cereal killer guilty of killing the boy. And wouldn't a guilt ridden woman want to prosecute the man who killed her son? Not this lady apparently. I can not believe the jury bought that lady's story. If it was up to me, she would be in jail for a good long time.

Stephen Fagans daughters

Ok, now these two little girls need to grow up and see what is going on. Your father decided to break the law and kidnap you from your mother. He didn't do it for you he did it for him because he didn't get it all in the marriage ended. He is a selfish self centered man. Your MOTHER was not given a chance to defend herself, she was not given a chance to explain. Have you heard her side? Or just the one that kidnapped you. I pray you grow up to see that after your father wronged your mother so did you. You need to forget the lies your father told you (remember he has been lying to you since you were 2 & 5) and at least listen to your mother. Your healing will not begin until you can see things clearly with an open mind not your fathers mind.

No Truthful Follow Up on Barbara Walters Adoptin 20/20

I am so very dissapointed on the follow up presented on the truthful status of the families featured in the 20/20 special regarding open adoption.
Though I do not know accuraltly of her stsus now, Jessica, the then 17 yer old "birthmother" who was used on camera to show how she "choose" the gift of adoption, was a very unhappy camper not long after the show did air. She was known to be heavily gireving, feeling quite used and drinking more than any 18 "contnet and at peace" girl should.
The "agency" that was so loving featured in the story, A child's Waiting, In Ohio, not only got in quite a sticky mess for the highly unethical kid napping of 5month old Evelyn Bennett. To this day, her mother Stephanie Bennett still fights for her rights and greives the loss of her daughter.
AND, the state of Ohio is once again denying Jennifer Marando and Crissy Kolarik their credientils and hopefully will shut them down for good!

Let's report the truth sall we? Even if it isn't the same happy ending feel good story that BabaWawa might have liked, it's called reporting not story telling.

And with adoption, there is often more to the "hapy endings" then people might want to beleive.
