the parents of this baby are responsible. were the parents drug tested or charged with drug pos. or with leaving 3 children alone in a house with illegal drugs with intent to distribute.

I'm with CPS in a large state and although I feel CPS did drop the ball early on by not continuing to follow up esp. if drugs were a possibility I assure you they are on the CPS radar now. The remaining child should be taken away. The parent is responsible for this death - a 13y/o simply isn't trained to keep that young a child for an extended length of time. I pray Ashley heals from this - not fair for her to feel at fault.
it was mentioned briefly that a 16 yr old step sister was suppose to be helping baby sit. she was never mentioned again. as for the crack cocaine and the baking soda this screams drug dealing. why were there no drug charges brought against these people. its commonly known that using cocaine causes people to act violently. something here stinks to high heavens.
