I'm confused on something, Melinda sees who she thought was her father as a ghost in the tunnels and in a later episode she sees him as a living person. Did I miss something ?and why is her brother not in later episodes?

does anyone know what happens to melinda and her baby?last time i watched it was about the book and her dying and stuff. i am really confused. does she get the gift?does melimda die?? is sam or jim the dad? someone help. i wanna catch up??

The last episode i watched was the one where eli is told not to let melinda see "the book" that has the dates of the tragic events that took place and when it went off her name is in the part that is showing the future and the date is the due date of her baby. i have looked at the info for the upcoming episodes and they are starting all over. going back to the episodes that andrea is in. why is this happening? will it show her having her baby and what the book meant? can anybody tell me? i really would appreciate it.
