Escaping the Real

I have a daughter who is a senior and she likes the show the two times she has seen it, I liked the show for the main reason that as a mother you can hear from these girls what your girls (daughters) might not be telling you about their feelings or issues growing up in this generation.

I work hard as a mother, wife, career person and need to escape so with my time limited I really do not want my personal TV "Me Time" spent watching everyday issues and problems. Instead of relaxing and getting to escape realty for awhile I end up with anxiety and creating a checklist of worries on a notepad beside my chair.

I was really loving the "Supernatural" block of programming they were airing, what happened? it was becoming a regular for me, candles, popcorn, and my very own big container of ice cream sunk down in a comfy chair for a couple of hours!
