I just got done watching the first episode of the show....it is amazing. I am 4 years out of highschool now, and this brought back so many true and real memories. The two girls fetured tonight are very inspirational and they gave a real light to many topics teenagers deal with. Im excited for next week!
My 15 yr old son and 13 yr old daughter are both watching it with me. I want them to know that I am aware that this stuff is going on in all high schools and I'm not shocked. It really opens the lines of communication for them to see that you aren't an old prude who is going to freak out about the slightest thing. My daughter knows 7th grade girls who are having sex and we have talked about this an oral sex and drugs and on and on. It makes a big difference to be able to talk to your parents.
