my father passing away

my father recently passed away2 1/2 weeks ago.it is really hard on me now then it was then.i just dont know how to cope with the loss of my father?! please help!

I completely understand on the loss of a parent. Im only 18 years old. And i lost my mother when i was 12. It was really hard growing up without a mother. it is really hard and you will never get over it but you will come to find out that your father will always be there for you. just remember all the good times that you have had. Thats what i do. i just remember that she is in a better place. And im so happy for that.

i hope you find peace with that.

I am so sorry your father has passed away,I lost my father back in 1976 and my mother in 2002
It takes time and I know everyone has told you this,but it is true, it gets easyer as the days go by.
Your not alone your father is still with you in spirt. The first Christmas after my mom passed she let me know she was there with me.
I talk to her and my dad alot and I do have a step sister who passed away also and I talk to her
I tell them I love them and my heart will always be filled with their love Loving someone who is here with us is easy and it is the same when thet are gone, just believe in yourself and your father and you will be fine in time

I lost my mother in 1998 and my father in 2007. My dad hit me pretty hard, but I knew in my heart that all he wanted was to be with Mom. The pain never goes away, but it does get easier. I don't know if your dad was sick, but my dad had a lot of medical problems. I knew that he was miserable and when it came time, it was not easy, but having him taken of any life support was what he wanted.

Keep yourself busy and remember that even through your dad is not with you physically he is there with you in spirit and in your heart.

I hope you find some peace.
