Racist White Women MRS. B

If "it's not about race." and she's "Not a racist" then why did Jojo's mom say, "I can't believe he's kissing THE BLACK GIRL!" She's a dyed-in-the-wool racist and smother-mother.

I only had to watch the show for about 15 minutes to figure out Mrs. B also suffers from persecution complex and thrives on being a Marvic (Martyr/victim) Here are a couple scenarios:

Mrs Botch upset about the Jojo/Misty date in the hot tub:

Jojo: "I was on a private date out there..." (In other words, YOU barged in)
Momma: "It wasn't private....I got to see it!"

Yeah, because she runs on self-will! Because she chose to interrupt Jojo's date with Misty. Because she demanded to get delivered to her son, got on a helicopter, SPIED on them, then went insane as a result of her OWN doing.
(By the way, the definition of insanity is "Doing the same thing over and over, and expecting different results.")

I commend Misty for standing up to Mrs. B(otch) and not backing down. Unfortunately, Jojo saw that as a defect, when in reality it was an asset. Someone needs to stand up to Mrs. Botch, or else Jojo Baby Boy will continue on the teet, and live under the wrath of his mother. How embarrassing! That is NOT a normal mother-son relationship.

Mrs. Botch was known as saying on several occasions to Jojo: "Why are you doing this to me???" ( implying "After ALL I've done, blah blah, you've stabbed me in the heart!") She also said to Misty, "If you respected me, you wouldn't go out on a date with my son." Misty's response was, "Yes, IF I respected you...." meaning she didn't - what was there to respect? Mrs. B was mean spirited. Who responds kindly to such negativity? Only a mousy-mouse, which clearly, Misty was not!

At the finale with Mindy, Mrs B. was SO out of line. She takes everything as a personal assault.
With therapy, she hopefully realize the world does NOT revolve around her and that her son has the God given right to choose for himself.

A mother who chooses to control, micro-manage, butt into her children's relationships, has mental issues. Maybe it's a result of how these mothers were raised, or just a result of their thinking, "I gave birth to him; therefore I'm in charge of his life."

An adult son who stays on the leash has been brain washed and therefore, also has mental issues. No matter who he chooses as a life partner, that woman will "Never be good enough" to his mother.

What's interesting is, the mother never takes a look at her own behavior because she thinks she's justified. Nor does she take a look at how she, herself was raised,and all the resentments she had toward her own parents because of that. She rarely realizes she is doing the exact same thing she hated to her own child. This is where therapy would help.

Wake up Smother Mothers. The best way to lose your adult child is by being a control freak. And quit trying to live your life through theirs.
