My niece is getting married in Oct 09. It is a second marriage for her and she wants to have abeautiful wedding--she didn't have a wedding the first time around.
Anyway, with a limited budget, I was wondering if you had some advice on how to have a really great reception after a small, intimate wedding?

My daughter and her fiance are both Marines stationed in Hawaii and are coming tio Orlando, FL in June 09 for their wedding. The wedding will be at a golf resort and I would love to get ideas on doing something special for this very special couple.

So I want a very clean, simple and elegant wedding reception. I pretty much just want black and white everywhere except for the flowers. I am not crazy about having white table linens because I think it would be too bright. However, I am having trouble picturing black table linens at a wedding. What do you suggest?

I am getting married this fall in October, and i want to use the color chocolate, i would like to know what color or colors could i match with it to make a beautiful wedding color? I am lost on this topic! Help please.

Hey David,
Let me start out by saying that you are a genius and I adore your show. My colors are pearl pink, cream, and white which look beautiful with my outdoor waterfront ceremony. The problem is the reception. The room has a beige color fabric draping from the ceiling which i can't change and a sunset orange carpet with beige color walls. I think decorating in pink and white linens will look awful! I thought of doing white and ivory but I'm not sure if the color combo on top of each other will look good. Is there anything I can do to avoid just doing plain old white linens? Oh and one more question I thought of hanging white paper lanterns from the ceiling will that look nice with the beige fabric or should I scratch the idea entirely? Hope you can help

I have no clue where to start. I also need help creating a multi culture wedding. My soon-to-be husband is from DR and have of his family are mexican, and my family is african american. How will I create a wounderful event for all? Everyone I know, thats married have just went to the court house called it a day. So this event is special to us all. First, I would like to tell you how much I enjoy your show, and admire your work.
My daughter Jaime, is getting married in July, 2009. Last year I had a Kidney transplant, and Jaime was my donor. She did a very courages and generous act. I would love to give her the wedding of her dreams. Could you please help me accomplish this on a modest budget? I have been waiting for this opportunity for a lifetime, and wouldn't even have had the privelege if it weren't for her. It would be wonerful if you would.
