I think a lot of the people making the horrible comments about the parents on the show using nannies to how could they spend this money at an economic time like this just need to stop. I don't know any of these parents on this show and I only make $30,000 a year but I'm happy to see others enjoy themselves and be able to sare their happiness with family and friends. I think a lot of you haters are missing the point. Would I spend this much money on my babyshower if I had the money? Probably not but that doesn't mean I'm better or less than them. Seriously, get over yourselves and stop being so jealous.
wow look what the economy is doing to us! patriciaevelyne if we had the same paycheck as them then of course we will spend alot for a new baby. you want whats best for your kids and have pretty much all the things you've never had as a kid (even though some wouldn't admit it). this show is great than the white trash jon and kate plus 8 show who by far do nothing but WASTE THEIR KIDS MONEY ON CRAPPY THINGS LIKE ED HARDY TEES, NECKLACES FOR HIS FAME-WHORE GIRLFRIENDS, GO CLUBBING, AND SPEND 9,000 DOLLARS ON HAIR EXTENTIONS EVEN THOUGH SHE ENDS UP CUTTING IT OFF and they don't even do anything expect wine and complain about their life!

How can you watch a show where people spend money uselessly when so many others need basic help, such as food, clothes and more importantly the love of a nice family?

There is also a question of good taste and class, and to spend that much money on anything is the very definition of lack of it, it is tacky to the max.
To show compassion and care toward others who have less than you and a desire to help is the very definition of good taste and class.
