It is real. The prices spent are not exact but the events and comments are real. i know a couple on one of the upcoming shows and they are NOT pretentious at all. The show came to them...they did not ask to be on the show. I agree that this much money to be spent on a wedding is crazy, but the families spending this much money on a wedding have far more money then you can ever believe. So a wedding like this is not as big a deal (money wise) to them as it is to the rest of us who could never imagine spending this much money on anything (especially a one day event).
Yes, I think Platinum Weddings is real, but I'm not so sure about Bridezillas. Bridezillas may just be real people acting up for the cameras.
Yes. I know one of the couples featured this season (rather not mention which one), but I know for a fact that it is real. They are really nice people, but it is still hard to believe that a wedding can be so expensive :)
Yes I do. I also think this season's couples look like they are trying Way too hard to be "Platinum"
